VampireofDarkness
CnC is NEEDED! Credit to The Eternal Winter for this rather genius idea, though I have come up with all my own combos on my own and fit my strategy to such. The basic idea is: Turn 1: Void Ogre + Dark Law or Double Void Ogre This basically assures your opponent won't be finishing you off anytime soon. This is almost necessary now with the existence of Necloth and Qliphort, sadly, but is easily pulled off and the most secure lock you can get with this Deck. Turn 3: Proceed to go ham with Synchro and Xyz Mayhem Zephyros + Bubbleman Zephyros + Mali + Dark Grepher Instant Fusion + Plaguespreader (Insert endless list of other Dark Grepher combos) (Insert second endless list full of Lavalal Chain and Daigusto Emeral combos) Turn 5: Finish what you started I am considering making a more detailed thread since it is a very complex Deck but is just phenomenal. Again, feedback and suggestions are VERY much appreciated. Not sure what more quite to do
Sir Yamiegg
This has been done before... without Zerato... which is not needed. 3 Grepher is also probably not needed because you run 3 RoTA. Unknown isn't needed either. And you're running Yazi as your 7 option? Moonlight Rose would be the best option if you were to run a Synchro to go with Unknown. Since the extra space is so tight with decks like these that run Noden and Heroes and Synchros AND Xyz to top it all off, you should not run a random Level 7 which you can only make with 1 unsearchable card in a 40-card deck. I'm also iffy on the DDRs and Creeping Darkness @2. Maybe 1 each? I feel that a Trap or two would help the deck a lot, consolidating the field after plays have been made. Also, you should probably run Exciton.... So yeah, drop Unknown, Zerato, 1 Grepher, add a Monk, and an Exciton can replace the Yazi in the extra deck. Or a Beelze/Scrap Dragon (maybe). I was about to make an update actually, but I'll make some comments. Keep in mind I am trying to make this Deck TCG competitive. I have been testing this Deck like crazy and while I am looking for ideas, I have noticed a few things, but lemme look at just your suggestions alone: -1 Zerato - Zerato is just another Grepher target that is less dead than Dark Creator because it can be summoned by DDR -1 Unknown - I actually was testing Armageddon instead. With Shadow Mist and Zephyros in the Deck, it seems like it would work better, especially against BA where Leo would be more optimal than Void Ogre. Unknown was mostly for Yazi and originally in the OCG oriented build you could go into Trishula. However, I found it one or two times to be the one card I didn't want to summon but had to, and thus it clogged, so I have been looking to replace it. A 2nd Monk seems the most ideal -1 Yazi - This countered BA enough to the point where I included it because it was that easy to make and because looping Malicious with Emeral was a thing in addition to Soul Charge, it made it even more efficient. However, Unknown is becoming more and more pointless so this will go out. +1 Exciton - I actually haven't found a need for this, even though I have wanted to. Most of the time you are trying to OTK, and Exciton gets in the way of that, especially after establishing your field first turn. It just seems counterproductive +1 Monk - My only problem with Monk is it is unsearchable and opening up Grepher and Instant Fusion is almost always a win for me. However, in place of Unknown Synchron makes it seem much better +1 Beelze and +1 Scrap - I considered this, but the combination Stardust Spark and Hot Red do the job better. I understand popping backrow is nice, but Void Ogre Dragon negates it. Beelze isn't really that good anymore, especially in the meta where Castel and 101 are live -1 Creeping and -1 DDR - I am surprised to say this, but these don't actually clog as much. Because you are often going Lavalval Chain to dump a 2nd Plague for your Double Void Ogre combo when you don't have Instant Fusion, you bounce 2 cards out of your hand, which thus clear them out quick. Again, I would normally agree 100%, but my test results say otherwise + Traps? - I have considered this so many times, but the problem is getting the most out of your plays. I have found that Double Void Ogre Turn 1 hurts enough Decks to the point where you just win, especially Qliphort and Nekroz. It just feels unneeded. If I find there to be a need to run Traps, I will do such, but as of now it seems unnecessary I'll put the minor changes I have for now up, I'll see what else can be done as I test more

And what's the point of summoning Zerato anyway? It's nothing more than a beater, which the deck has plenty of already. Also, why make the deck TCG competitive when all its main cards are OCG? VampireofDarkness
Scrap isn't usually for popping backrow, but for Continuous stuff you need to get rid of. And what's the point of summoning Zerato anyway? It's nothing more than a beater, which the deck has plenty of already. Also, why make the deck TCG competitive when all its main cards are OCG? It's a Level 8 to discard with Grepher, and in emergencies, it was really useful for going into Leo for a Graveyard setup in a dead hand. This was before the Deck was super consistent at the whole Double Void Ogre thing. That no longer is realistic, so I'm using Destiny Hero - Dreadmaster now instead since it is a D Draw target. As for TCG competitiveness, the Hero Structure Deck comes out on January 31st. Just change Noden to Darkfire Dragon and you have yourself the Deck. You can pull the same result off, you just use rely on the Xyz more on your starting plays.
