Yu-Gi-Oh will never die.

At least, not until late in our lifetime, probably.

 

Once shows have reached a certain peak in their popularity, they'll form and stay in their little niche for ages.

That's why we still get DBZ games even after all these years, I bet your butt Naruto will do the same.

 

And with stuff like Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh, they've found stability in their fanbases while simultaneously encouraging new generations to join in.

It's all part of the plan.

The wait is real.
 
By then who knows what it would take for an old deck to come back in full force into the meta.
 
Granted that's if Yugioh lasts until 2024.
