Rage against the dying of the light [Infernoid]

40 card deck. that means there are 100 different combos of cards you could get. (3/4 of 40 is 10. 10*10=100. (if i can ever remember what those tree things are called... it's something to do w/ those.))
know let's see..  that means you have a 1/100-3/100 to get any one card in your deck. there's also 30*30 or 900 different combos for the cards in your grave. that's a 1/900-1/300 (3/900 simplified) chance to get any one card in your grave. those aren't the best odds.

1600 different combos for the starting deck.
milling 2-4 cards a turn i have a 1/800-3/800 (for milling 2) 1/400-3/400 (for milling 4) chance to get what what i want in the grave.

for how often the card(s) that could be dumped could occur. using the logic i'm using, there are 100 different combos of cards that can occur if you have 10 cards left if your deck. if you only have 1 copy of a card, there would be a 1/100 chance of it being in those 10 cards.

sorry for the double post, it just took me a while to gather my thoughts

No...

The number of combinations of 10 objects is given as 10!, not 10 x 10.

That's 3,628,800, by the way.

But that doesn't matter. The chance of you drawing X card that is still in your deck when you have 10 cards is 1/10.

(I also feel the need to apologize to Klavier, as his deck topic is now destroyed.)

We run M Dig in OCG, idk if that works well or jives with the TCG meta

I tested Miracle Dig back when we only had 3 Infernoids to work with and it was lackluster. Now that we have some more things that will let you banish from the graveyard, making it faster to have 5 gone, it could be worth it.

How many Miracle Dig are they using? Do they use 2 with a Burial, or just a single copy? I'd be shocked if they used 3.

And in that case, what do we cut? Do we start eschewing the Tour Guides all together and lead with Card Trooper?

2-3 with Burial, but we don't have BA so it's different TCg side

On topic, I'm not a fan of M. Dig at all.  I think that it has such a specific cost that, while a deck such as this can hit very easily, imo M. Dig doesn't provide a strong enough effect for its cost and as such, it doesn't justify its place in a deck such as this.  I would honestly play Necroface over M. Dig but as I'm pretty sure I've seen argued here or on another forum, Necroface isn't a good fit in this deck because it only resets the cards that you remove and this deck only removes infernoids, not anyway to vomit them into the graveyard.

What do you guys use as tour guide targets?

I think he means to say condition, not cost, but yeah, as I was saying, getting 5 removed should be easier than it used to be, with Vael and Adramelech also getting in on the banish action. It probably warrants retesting.

Also, technically speaking, you could recycle your ways of milling out Infernoids, if you threw in Spell Strikers, but that sounds pretty bad
