Around the Center (Drac's Harem Anime Thread) [OOC/S/AA/PG-13]

The winner of the Bizarre RP Ideas Poll, #2- the Harem Anime-styled RP! There will be tropes common to the harem genre here, and some that I'll subvert/invert/generally play with until the cows come home.

Now, I'll be controlling our resident Harem Protagonist, a character I've named Aidan for the pun.

Now, regarding your characters, the only real requirement to them is an attraction to Aidan. You can go the Yukari route and ship yourself as part of an OT3 with him and another character, you can go the Setsuna route and slightly prefer another character over Aidan (yet still have the attraction be there), and you can even be our resident stalker or yandere!

Aidan has finally reached age 17, and is seriously wondering what to do with his life. He's just scraped by in classes, he doesn't have a job yet, and finding his way into any college- let alone a university- is basically out of the question. At least he's out of the teenage awkwardness phase, and is now legitimately good-looking. He might be able to pass himself off as a male model . . . if he had the first clue on how to become one.
His wealthy aunt has basically given him the run of her absurdly spacious apartment, and spends so little time at home he's started wondering if she exists at all, seeing how she only communicates through post-it notes on the fridge. The landlord could be doing that.
Ah, well, it seems as if he'll have to try again for a job . . .

Personality: While normally rather meek in regard to himself, was known to go through absolute hell for the sake of people he cared about in school. Highly indecisive, preferring to let problems sort themselves out rather than making any legitimate choices. While he does enhoy talking to people, he's not very capable socially beyond superficial conversation.

Abilities:
Is unnaturally good-looking, and often has people falling for him for no legitimate reason. This hasn't helped with his job search, sadly.
If the other person is entirely willing, he can duplicate their skills, even if he does not know anything that they are capable of.

Abilities: Due to her connection with the Higher Plane, she can create pretty much any item at will, but she rarely does it, trying to make do with what she has at hand in the human world
Items/Equipment: Nothing special, she has a cellphone, a MP3 player and a laptop. She also has a charm from her father that's her connection to the mortal plane. If she loses it and doesn't find it quickly, she will be sent back.

Species: Demi-succubus (half-human, half-succubus)
Appearance:

Personality: Being half-succubus means that Leila does not require semen to maintain her energy. However, because she chooses to abstain from it, she requires more nutrients and rest than your average human, giving her an abnormally large appetite (spicy foods being her favorite, particularly mapo tofu) and longer than normal sleeping cycles. Unlike most young succubi her age, Leila is still a virgin, forgoing the succubus standard to hunt down any man that catches their eye, and instead often fantasizes about finding her one true love (though she'd firmly deny such actions). Also unlike most other succubi, her horns and tail are not erogenous zones, though she is very ticklish there. She has a habit of sleepwalking, though more often than not this turns to sleepflying. Leila is normally pretty happy, but is quick to anger (often accompanied by violence) should anyone mention her small height and/or bust size. She also gets embarrassed and jealous easily. Her horns and tail are normally concealed, but enough stress or large enough spike of emotion will make her disguise falter.

Eventually she went to live in the human world with her mother, who had chosen to stay there after giving birth to Leila, where support from her now absent father allows them to live comfortably. Leila has enjoyed things like going to school and making friends, and living a standard life like normal people, though because she and her mother age so slowly compared to normal humans, they've had to move around a lot. Their latest move has taken them to [insert RP city name here], where Leila's one dream might finally come true.

Appearance: As must be expected of a (former) Student Council President, Cynthia styles her dark blue hair with Ojou Ringlets, while the rest of hair is tied behind her head in a bun. She wears white-rimmed glasses, making her emerald eyes more sinister in their looks. Standing at 5'7" and with a slim figure, Cynthia dresses in black shirtcovers her neck, yet shows her harms, while she wears blackstockings, an orange miniskirt, and white thigh-high boots.
Personality: Cynthia spares little time with pleasantries, though in spite of her Ojou Ringlets and previous position as the Student Council President, Cynthia considers herself far from a "noblewoman". She wishes to learn more about the supernatural world and its inhabitants, and desires authority with which she can use to that end.
Backstory: Cynthia was born to a couple who met each one another during a history of monster hunting. Although they themselves seek retirement, they were not above passing on their talents to Cynthia. She served as the Student Council President of Aidan's high school, and is aware of how he had barely managed to graduate. In spite of her better judgment, she has found herself incapable of resisting the temptation to help some of her former classmates, including Aidan, in the hopes of ensuring that they may straighten themselves out. Unbeknownst to Cynthia, she has met with Aidan more frequently than she has with some of her other classmates.
VA: Kira Buckland (EN) / Sachika Misawa (JP) (In other words, both voice actresses for Kuroyukihime from Accel World)
Abilities:
- Has a respectable source of income through her parents.
- Could hold her own in battle against enemies competitors.

- She always makes sure to have the latest phone model.

The characters are required to have at least a convincing enough coat of original paint that I won't recognize it. If I (or someone else) catches you being a ripoff, you have to start all over.

Appearance: The hair color of Kurumu from Rosario Vampire, the face of Gasai Yuno from Mirai Nikki, the hair style of Light Yagami from Death Note, and the body (girl parts) of Inoue Orihime from Bleach. Hell yeah. XD
Personality: Um, yandere-ish; stalks the main character, overprotective of the main character, comically stabs any girl that tries to get close to the main character. He/she is a volleyball player, thus he/she is very athletic. He/she isn't the kind of stalker that hides it; he/she practically announces it to the world.
Backstory: Akihato has never been "normal"; he/she spent his/her time Facebook stalking, reading magazines on how males and females act, and taking pictures of both genders. That was Akihato's childhood.
Voice Actor: Gasai Yuno's English voice actor.
Abilities: As a yandere, Akihato is a Michael Myers (from Halloween (1978)) teleporter, meaning that he/she is also like a ninja, appearing out of nowhere. Akihato is also great with knives and pistols. :3
Items/Equipment: Taser, knives, and a pistol. Oh, and a tracking device. XD

We're basically in a modern city, but one where we're discovering- surprise!- that a good portion of people we know are secretly nonhuman. Still a minority, but enough to worry the status quo.

By the by, Psycho, you could just describe the colors and vague physical/emotional features instead of sending me on a chase through the anime archives.

Okay. The only reason I asked was because one of Leila's personality points is that she really likes mapo tofu, which is more prevalent in certain places like China/Japan/Korea, but if we're not anywhere specific then it works out regardless.
