Ultradragon16
Got the idea from Voltex Curse's awesome contest. Requirement Make a new version of an older monster updated, kind of like the Gearfried cards, but more relevant to the tournament scene today. Deadline November 22 Rules
1. Regular YCM Rules apply. 2. Can be a basic effect monster as well. 3. For flavor purposes, it must have a higher ATK and DEF than the original monster. 4. Basically make an upgrade for an existing monster, but only regular monsters like Effect or Normal Monsters. Their new form can be Synchro or Xyz as well as an Effect monster. 5. Check over your card before submitting it (Grammar/stats/effects.) 6. Absolutely under no circumstance should a monster be Divine attribute or Divine-Beast-Type 7. Make sure the effect and ATK/DEF are balanced. 8. Have fun and be creative. *Credit goes to Voltex Curse for the basic setup of the rules*
Entry fee: 10 points (will go to the pot) Pot:0
1. Ultradragon16/YamiBakura16/Sickxcy 2. kronks new groove
Participants: Grading Criteria
1. Has to be relevant in current meta-game 2. Has to be creative 3. Attention to detail 4. Has to be based off of cards only from the original series through GX
Best of luck and let the games begin.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
If kronk's new groove is a judge, you must also list his criteria as well (if he's not using the same one as you). I would advise not asking for a 20 point entry fee, considering both kronk's and your status here on YCM, if you want people to actually enter. Voltex can go for the higher amounts, because he can be trusted to judge fairly (with the note that he's also passed the Judging Exam).
Ultradragon16
Would 10 be all right? And I'll take that judging exam later if I have to.
