I decided to max out on Valkyrus since after a few tests, he showed how GOOD he is. He's probably the best turn 1 play to do into a blind matchup (Unicore is better if you know what are you up again, but he's still pretty smal.) Valkyrus is nigh-impossible to run over on turn 1, plus his Battle Fader effect is amazing at stopping whatever OTK your opponent might throw at you. Plus it protects Denko, and battle destruction is my main gripe against it.

Yes, only 1 Clausolas. 3 clogged too much. Main problem I noticed with the common lists is that they're TOO consistent. They run a lot of tutors which later on are pretty much dead. You know how many copies of Mirrors my list runs? 4 Mirrors, 3 Manjus, 3 Senjus, 1 Clausolas. That's 11, and that's already a lot. But then there is Reinforcement of the Army to grab the Clausolas. Preparation for Rites which can get Clausolas or a Unicore to reuse a used-up Clausolas. Brionac can get either Clausolas or Unicore. You catch my drift? You already have a crapton of ways to tutor for it.

I'm putting Claus to two in my build, and I saw yours and Black's build, so I'm curious…how is two of Exo mirror working out?
…I should probably hold off on anything major until SECE comes out.

Valk is amazing, but I found 3 to be a bit much, considering he has quite a few ways of getting back in your hand.

You can't even build Necloths in TCG.....cause THEY DON'T EXIST IN TCG

They have a confirmed time and everything ffs.

We're not playing in some pseudo format where we don't have shit announced for release, we know exactly when it'll be happening.

Don't even bring up the ban list argument because it's not even valid.

I'm pretty sure that everyone here is building for the TCG side.

Err no, Heros Strike is coming out. Stratos could be unbanned thus getting ROTA hit, you can't make a deck ignoring 1 of the 2 game changers in YGO...aka the Banlist...so stop playing some shitty as pseudo format and fangasming over three Rota

You're pretty much fucking implying that people shouldn't make decks because they don't prepare for ban lists.

You make decks with what you can make them with at the time and THEN ADJUST THEM ONCE THE BANLIST IS ANNOUNCED
That's like saying we don't run 3 tools in Qlips because he's going to get hit!

What fucking pseudo format? RoTA could get hit, so fucking what? The deck will just get edited like any regular deck!

A lot can change in 4 months. You can run tool and all the s*** you want cause there is no banlist before nech and July. There is one between now and Tribeforce. But if you want to make s*** decks for the circle Jerk and giggles be my guest. ^ those deck are about to get raped by Heros Strike (with out without stratos) and Qliphorts even if you ignore the fact that ROTA has as much a chance @ staying @ 3 as CED has of returning.

Now you can either stop being pretentious and realize the Meta when Necloths become TCG legal will be very similar to what OCG has in October (BA will get OCG Shaddoll Treatment) and subsequently realize that cards like Hands, Veiler, and Shared ride are amazingly good. Or you can keep flaunting your "TCG is king" shit and make a deck that is completely pointless. Your choice

Whoa, whoa, whoa, calm your tits guys. I still disagree with TCG+OCG making sense as a format at all, and I won't allow it for my DN tourneys to come probably, BUT, as a thought exercise/casual play, it's pretty ok. Anyways:

-1 Valkyrus

+1 Decisive Armor

Valkyrus was great, but tended to clog, plus it's reusable with Unicore. Meanwhile, I missed Armor a looooot of times, the boost effect is just so good.

Decisive Armor: Brionac + Unicore

Goyo: Unicore

Herald: Unicore

Clausolas: Clausolas

Quasar: Brionac + Brionac, Valkyrus + Unicore, Trishula + Clausolas

Stardust: Unicore + Unicore

That's for the Synchro lineup, I've been comfortable with this since it covers pretty much every possible summoning combination unless I missed something. Rest of extra deck is just Rank 4s which are the easiest to summon, and a single Rank 6, 8 and 9 in case I manage to get double Trishula/Valkyrus/Brionac. Although you could cut those for the Quasar/Exa-Beetle thingy if you wanted to.

And that is exactly WHY ROTA won't be hit.

Sales promotion. Konami does this ALL THE FUCKING TIME

I think you have your levels mixed up.
