Darj
Cards cannot be Tributed. I was looking for cards to side against Qliphorts when I thought about this. It will stop Qliphorts from virtually doing anything: they won't be able to Tribute Summon Shell, Disk and even Killer, nor Tribute Carrier and Helix to trigger their effects. It can also disrupt other decks such as BAs and their Monarchs, and you can chain it to a Stormforth and disable it. I also thought it would disrupt Necloths as well, but then I remembered they can banish monsters from the grave for the Ritual Summons; at least it will stop the opponent from using Shrit, for whatever that's worth. Thoughts? Is it a decent side card choice for the upcoming TCG format, or there are better options out there?
Trebuchet MS
If you somehow maintain a field consisting of this and Vanity's Emptiness...
(GigaDrillBreaker)
This is where i get to show how casual i am. This+Dark Simorgh+Ojama King+Ground Collapse+Anti-Spell Fragrance=a combo that stops your opponent from doing literally anything.
Love of Ghibli
I think Anti-Spell Fragrance was discussed as the Qliphort death trap because pendulums are spells. This is cool though. I think it does stop the future ritual problem a little bit, but once again I think spell fragrance would almost do that better.
Maeriberii Haan
Uh yeah, pendulum summon still exists. Definitely not something you want to get on the field without protection/backup/a monster of your own. It can do good, but alone? Nah. Though, it's a nice floodgate to Necloths, as Bailas said, but then again, Exo and Kaleido's alternate summoning won't be stopped by this, I think. Speaking of the definition of tribute, does Shrit go off when banished with exo? If he does, this stops exo's alternate cost, which is cool. Well, they can still Pendulum but a bunch of 1800~2400 ATK monsters are certainly less threatening than their bigger monsters triggering Helix/Carrier. But yeah, Anti-Spell Fragrance should hurt them more without the need of a monster defending you from those beaters. Another side deck card I found someone using was Fairy Wind, to pop the Pendulum Spells. I suppose you could side both Wind and Fragrance for more Qliphort hate. (GigaDrillBreaker)
So, effectively speaking, this only stops the standard exoshrit plays against necloths. Kinda meh IMO.
