@Sonic, I personally think that it's unneeded since Fifth Hope is already a thing.

 

If you want to though, increase the cost to shuffling 4 Masked Heroes, and the draw to 2, since you do play main-decked Masked Heroes.

 

Well, Fifth Hope is for E-HEROs, so that would be the main problem since I'm doing the M-HEROs.

Villains have been introduced and while nothing is stopping you from making a villain app I did not want the burden of being school terrorist to fall on players who do not know all of the plot. I figure that between dueling each other, fictional classmates and other fictional schools talented RPer's would have more than enough to do.

Fair enough; maybe once the plot starts to unfold more people can make some villain apps? I wouldn't want you to be juggling everything at once :p

EDIT: Hey, after James's character Duels Yuruko, could someone recognize her from her software website, and bring it up?
In the end, it doesn't really matter whether they're a fan, a disgruntled customer, or even a "hey, I know you" type of person, but I just want someone to recognize her.

You do know both players have 8k lifepoints correct?

Oh. Well, shit.

 

Both Duels I've participated in (James and I laid out our Duel beforehand, as it basically exists to display the primary cards of our respective archetypes [as Yuruko, I will Duel with plot in mind. I will intentionally give her dead draws and garbage responses more and more as the RP goes on, however I still need to establish that she's competent first.]) use the 4000 established in the anime. I find it punchier.

Speaking of anime-style, we need to plan a double or tag Duel. I just want one of my characters (I don't even care which one) involved in something like that. Always loved the multi-duels in the anime, and I'd love to be a part of one.

 

Speaking of, anyone else picturing this in YGO-style art?

Also, matches could be more "efficient", if you will, when they are at 4000 LP. It allows for quicker character progression. But I do agree that tourneys should be at 8000.

Sort of, Koto or Kohana could take part in a multi/tag duel after the current duel Kohana is in is over. Though if I get round to it there is probably going to be a duel against my two characters (albeit the advantage starts with Kohana as all Koto's Hyper-Units are LIGHT.)

I'm planning for my two characters to have a sort of love-hate relationship with Takara stalking Katana and Katana trying to get her away. There will be some sort of duel between them where if Takara wins Katana will date her. She will probably get ridiculously f***ing lucky and win, causing Katana to become more social.

Same, I figured as the RP is taking place in the same world as the anime me and James used the 4000 LP. It could be that for tournament/ranked duels we use 8000 LPs.

4k is inferior to 8k because when you all plan these out you do not have a lot of wiggle room for actual card battling. You have no room to really take damage effectively and you make garbage burn cards like Ookazi infinitely more effective. Like the anime it should be a back and forth but it shouldn't be a back and forth of random counters and stalemate game play. Essentially the first duel of the RP was over in 4 turns which is typical of the anime but not much card playing was done. 8k life is for the quality of the duels in the RP

Just leaving a note here; I'm pretty sure Balias had already mentioned it, but for those of you who don't know, the outcome of each duel should be planned beforehand by PM. This just makes things that much easier to get through, and there are usually far less BS moves by RP'ers to save themselves at all costs when about to lose.

Also, personally, I think that there's a lot of dueling going on for a break, and that we should have no more starting for the timebeing - especially because none of these duels are particularly plot-related, and if there are too many, it would slow down the story tremendousky. I apologize if I sound out of line here, but just my thoughts.

Drac, for our duel, Equip Action Cards are not existed. Action Cards are always Normal Spell/Trap but can activated during any player's turn, so you may use it as a 1-off 500 or 1000 boost with an additional piercing effect for a turn (don't forget to give it a name) but that's not matter as I activated my own Action Card, also for your another duel, DRXD is, while generic IRL, Yuto's ace monster and that isn't a card that anyone can have in their Extra.

Sigh... Drac, you better play this game for real if you want to get along with this kind of RP

 

First, my Petolphin cannot be destroyed by any card effects.

 

Next, I can chain my face-down card to Furious Rush activation, before it resolve (let just ignore its design..), so looking forward the edit before I making a post.
