Moi, apparently.

His appears to use everything but Pendulums, which is what I was going for- abusing the status of Pendulum cards as Spells to get free Spell Counters.

They wouldn't essentially be free but...okay

But, while he uses a Pendulum engine to generate Spell Counters for gimmick-y effects, such as Blast Magician and Rapid-Fire Magician, mine focuses on a Synchro Spell Counter Deck that is much more streamlined and efficient, and only has a few Fusions and a single Ritual to back it up.

The decks, on the surface, are similar, but how they accomplish their respective goals are quite different, especially when it comes to how we use Spell Counters.

Draconus' Magician Deck has Spell Counters as a secondary goal, but primarily focuses on Pendulum Summoning and using Dark Magician support.

My Spell Counter Deck is exactly that: is works with Spell Counters and Spell Counters alone.

Okay so have you read later on that you were wrong in your assumptions and a different person has claimed has claimed the Dark Magician fusions. Though to see you pull that off would be interesting.

Hey, Bailas, on top of Daniel and Draconus, can I make a deck focused on Silent Magician (And LV in general actually, but the main boss will be from that line)?

THey do use spell counters, so I need to ask it first to you.

LV's are fine and Silent Magician is fine. You may proceed.

Spell Counters is not an archetype.

It's a mechanic.

A somewhat common mechanic, but a mechanic used all across the different Spellcasters of this game.

I don't think that Spell Counters can be restricted to just one person because of that.

For the sake of my sanity and patience I yield and say you both can try to differentiate from the same pool of 30 cards and see the vast amount of differences.

Oof, I might rework an old as hell Toon Dragon archetype I started way back when into the modern age and make the character using them a Synchro user, since I did make a Toon Synchro and can convert one of the others into another Toon Synchro.

Also, while I do plan on using Toonies, I'm primarily using BETD and various custom Toon supports, so the Toon subtype as a WHOLE might not be considered taken by me.

Bunko is quite a curious person, and always eager to explore something new. She is very objective and logical in her approach to matters at times, especially when she’s hunting for news for the school’s magazine. She loves to study and read and can spend hours in a library each day. But, what stronger than her desire to know more is her desire to reach the absolute, unbiased ‘truth’ of matters, and for that ideal, the ideal that she believes other journalists seek, she’ll stop at nothing and will unleash any tricks in the book, and even some that are unwritten, all to obtain the truth of a situation. This definitely angers quite a lot of people, but Bunko never really gets too bothered by it, since as long as she writes the truth instead of bias, over exaggeration, and gossips, she believes that she’s really doing a service to others. She’s also somewhat paranoid, especially about other’s behavior around her. She’s always wanted to be sure that they were true to themselves whenever they’re near her.

Outside of those school magazine mayhem though, she’s relatively down to earth and nice, helpful, and friendly. No one’s really sure though about whether her actions when not “in duty” are natural or just a way for her to not be too persecuted due to her tendencies at other times. Surprisingly, she’s a quite capable duelist despite people rarely see her duel aside from classes and some other rare occasions, and the other factor why her skill in dueling is pretty surprising comes from her seeming inability to pull the summoning type that she learned (she can, but her decks doesn’t rely on it so she rarely ever considered the fancy summoning to be necessary).

While both her parent lives in mainland Britain, she’s purely Japanese in blood, even though her and her parent’s name are fully in English. Originally, her name was Alice Liddell during her ten years in England. While she was considered prodigious in her studies there, overall, there were not really that many things that made her stood out compared to other kids, until one day, she was introduced to a certain woman, who was pretty kind towards her, and towards some of her friends too actually. They visited her often each weekend, and even her mother trusted her to be Alice’s tutor. While all was pretty well for her at first, she couldn’t help but start wondering about this woman, especially after noticing odd things regarding her. But she ended up dismissing those as nothing of importance.

A big mistake, as tales like these usually ended. But thankfully for her, it was not her that time that pulled the shortest straw. One day, after waiting for one of her friend for an hour, she decided to visit the woman’s house alone. Much to her surprise, when she arrived there, cops already surrounded the place, with several of her friends crying on a corner, and several bodybags being transported into ambulances. Her mother was there too, and when she noticed that Alice had just arrived, she ran straight to her and hugged her tightly, while explaining about what had happened there.

Not long after that incident, the Liddell family decided to return to Japan. With her family’s insistence, Alice changed her name to a Japanese one, though she decided rather than being an Arisu, she’ll be Bunko instead, due to her love of books. Nothing too out of ordinary happened in her life from that time onwards, though, she became more and more interested in the field of journalism as time goes on, with the peak being her joining the LDS’s school magazine staff not long after she enrolled there.

Haru is dumb, so she never speaks. Due to this, she usually does not get her point across in conversations and is unexpierienced in social stuff. If she really has to say something she either uses written cards, hand signs, or, if she is in a duel, she uses a special device, with which she can display messages inside of the Duel Field.

Despite her usually staying back, she is also very attentive and distrustful, keeping her eyes on everybody in her range and taking note of anything that she thinks is suspecious. Also, she likes to predict her own future and that of others by pulling cards from her Deck, something she is known for and will also do if asked for it. Hexe loves to cause all sorts of mayhem and misery, usually by spreading rumors or playing pranks, but nothing can ever be traced back directly to her. She also can seemingly place curses on people that cause them to have bad luck for short periods of time, maybe even longer. However, unlike back home in Germany, Hexe does not speak the native tongue of the place she is at. Her own first language is German, followed by English as a close second, but Japanese is completely alien to her, other than weeaboo-speak. That's why she has an automatic translation app installed on her Duel Disk. Unfortunately, the stupid thing sometimes doesn't work properly, leading to some confusing and frustrating situations. Still, Hexe is far from trustworthy, even without the language barrier. She will lie straight to your face if it means that she can get what she wants, and what she wants is only known to her. Who knows what her true motives are...

"Hexe Trude" is a fake name, her real name is unknown, though it might be somewhere deep on a server in Germany, or somewhere out there on the Internet, but her own appearance is so drastic, with pale, tattooed skin, bright blue hair tied into twin braids, and eyes that seem to glow blood-red, that any pictures of the old her will probably be unable to get a fix on her. According to her own testament, Hexe was born in a small village deep in the Alps, but moved to various German cities, picking up spellcraft along the way. She even fell into a cult dedicated to summoning some sort of ancient creatures imprisoned under the Nazca Lines or something, which is where she got some of the tattoos and had her skin paled. But she seems to be able to use this "witchcraft" to place curses on her opponents, the rumors of which are said to be nasty, allowing for her fellow students to give her a wide berth and generally let her do as she wishes, which is what she prefers.
A more in-depth analysis of Miss Trude's history reveals that her backstory is apparently true, but considering that there have been a string of German black hat hackers with similar faces as her own, it is possible to say that she might be the latest name that this woman is operating under. This apparently required quite the skill with hacking, which might explain her "magic" as simply an exploitation of Clarke's Third Law, paired with psychological manipulation. However, up until recently, she was doing some work with a European anarchist organization when she mysteriously vanished, only to reappear in Maiami City, applying for LDS as a new student. And she has the capability to duel, surprisingly. But despite her somewhat suspicious nature, she does show talent in the field of Xyzs, and her credentials seem to work out. There is only one problem.
Hexe can't speak Japanese.

Username: Have A Lovely Day

Name: Shizun Hanakotoba

Age: 15

Gender: Male

[spoiler: Appearance:]

440233db4472ce5c.jpg
Personality: If Shizun's personality were to be summed up in a song it would be this. He's one of those sassy, fabulous, top class, hair flickers that let's you know how it is. Always attempting to be "bout dat lyfe" and "keepin' it 100." He strives to be the best and achieve his goal in life of being on of the top duelist. Of course his natural truth comes across crass and mostly rude. Though make no mistake beneath Shizun's exterior he actually has some dueling talent but he is quick to resort to a battle of loud words rather than a card game. At the same time this blatant antagonism makes him a very loyal friend. He is the first to jump in and fight for his friends and rep his classes no matter what the situation. Also when people want a friend to share in their hate he is always their to assist as a shoulder to cry on and plot murders with. There is some good in this flower.

Age: 19

Gender: Male
H/W: 5'11 /161 lbs

Unlike Masumi who was his cousin, Masato is calm, collected and not so sociable. Though he is extremely intelligent, dependable and is attractive to girls thanks to his good looking face and his usual acting that always look cool. Like his straightforward cousin, he is capable of detecting talent and hesitation within people. Furthermore, he's capable of analyzing person's overall personality and capabilities after seeing only a bit of their expressions or move. He's always dueling with a respect in duelists, cards and dueling itself. Thus he never being upset when he lost, instead he'll intensely analyze what did he need in order to win this opponent next time, and if he realized that a gap between him and someone who beat him is too wide, he'll began to respect that person and tried his hardest to improve himself in order to beat them when he has a chance, like how he immediately entered LDS after losing to Reiji 4 years ago due to the lack of Extra Deck cards, studying hard and finally became an elite student who could utilize all 3 methods in just 3 years. Now that he has mastered all course and not having so much classes left, he decided to join the newly opened Pendulum Class taught by Reiji who he admired...
Biography: Decided to not do this due to the lack of decent story, the only thing you should know about his past is that he's a distant relative of Masumi.

Yuruko will rotate the various GameChild cards in and out, but Knight will be a mainstay. I plan on there being a character arc with her- she'll favor Legendary Hero as her boss monster for a while, before slowly losing what's left of her optimism and going straight for Ultimate Evil. Then, you know, someone redeems her, she uses both, and maybe brings out a Rank 12. Speaking of, are there good Rank 3/4 monsters that synergize with the GameChildren?

Utopia and Gagaga Cowboy both work really well in any Level 4 Deck.
So does Dark Rebellion (Although that's Yuto's card in the anime) and stuff like Kachi Kochi Dragon (Basically any cards that work well by themselves).

EDIT: I have updated Katana's App by putting the deck in it!
“Humans constantly feel pain in their hearts. Because the heart is so sensitive to pain, humans also feel that to live is to suffer.”

Username: Nai

Name: Kirei Shikinami

Age: 16

Gender: Male
58accf3193f062ba28ce8737f46dffa671bca027

He seems to be quite passive and polite from the outside, but a closer look confirms that the politeness is more of a façade than anything. He never really believes he deserves respect compared to others and generally has a quite strong sense of self-loathing. He prefers it that way though, to be invisible in the eye of others. He usually distances himself from other humans, enjoying the solitude that he has while alone. While he often rationalizes his choice to create that distance due to his unwillingness to be hurt by others, the actual reason is simply because he can’t relate himself with others, even when he wanted to. When he manages to be close with someone though, he’ll do anything to help and protect them, though usually without that person’s knowledge. He has some trouble displaying his emotions, and while he does have them, those never seem to be apparent from his speech or expression, aside from some rare cases. Whether it was actual problem with his facial muscle or something else is not clear. He’s a prodigious duelist, having access to four of the summoning schools, but he mainly focuses on Rituals, and barely used the other summoning method.

Kirei was born from a scientist family, though he spent most of his childhood with his mother’s friend, far from his parents due to them being too absorbed in their work. As a child he rarely, if ever, went outside, preferred to just read books and shut himself in in the confines of his own thought. And due to that, he didn’t have much friend, if any.

His caretaker, noticing about Kirei’s unwillingness to socialize, decided to enroll him in the Leo Dueling School later on. While Kirei proved himself to be an extraordinary student, he still failed to establish any friendship with others, until he met Reiji. While the relation between them was not friendship per se (it’s closer to the relation between a fan and their idol, with Kirei as the fan), he ended up being pretty determined to be close to him.

*6 Fairy/Fusion/Effect 1500/900

3 Level 2 or lower Fairy-type monsters with different names

Must first be Special Summoned by shuffling the above Fusion Materials from your graveyard to the deck while “Altar of the Heralds” is face-up on the field (this is treated as a Fusion Summon). You cannot summon monsters for the rest of the turn after this card is summoned. This card gains 500 ATK and 300 DEF for each Level 2 or lower Fairy-type monsters in your graveyard with different names. When a card effect that would add a card from the deck to the hand except by drawing them is activated, you can discard 1 card; negate the activation, and destroy it. Then, if you have 3 or more different Level 2 or lower Fairy-type monsters in your graveyard; draw 1 card.

Why has Yuruko's app not been accepted yet?
She's in the Xyz course, she's going to be almost exclusively using the GameChildren (a few added Spells and Traps for support, some Xyz additions) . . . what needs doing?

Oh, and I was thinking that the other Xyz monsters might be Number 17, Gagaga Cowboy, and I think I remember a Warrior-type Xyz with 2000 ATK called Excalibur or something.
