bloorocksDotD
Since I'm not going to be able to code a card-maker myself anytime soon, what if someone made their own website and we transfered as many staff and members there as possible? Then it would receive updates as needed, and we might even be able to get the RC section alive and pumping like back in the day. 10Sets a day. Toffee.
Then it would receive updates as needed-No. People would still bitch and moan to have Dark Synchros.
Brinolovania
The issue here is that websites cost money.

Just Crouton
You could just download Magic Set Editor. It's substantially better than online cardmakers.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Or you can just use the templates that members have spent time designing for you; and not worry about the cardmaker. Anyway, you mentioned earlier that you'll have some degree of web design in half a year or so; and Pacman noted that web hosting costs money. In terms of getting RC back to normal, there are other ways to do it. On a more technical note, when .Saber/Striker were still CC mods alongside Zex and myself; the issue was to deal with the quality. Guess Zex and I need to work on the activity level for the most part now (hell, for the entirety of CC). As much as I'd like for activity to go to 2010/2011 levels; we aren't in that era anymore. bloorocksDotD
My issue with MSE is that until I fix my pc I can't download it. I also have no clue how to do the text for GIMP templates. Even if I did, it just makes the whole uploading process that much more annoying. As for my web design knowledge that's still 6 months(ish) away which makes me sad. ATM I do know some C+ (I'm pretty sure that's what it is, might be Objective-C) so I could make a mobile app for card design which would include pendulums, dark syncros, maybe even include some of the "experimental" templates, but then there's the issue of uploading those. Anyways, even if we don't get pendulums for a while I'd still love CC (Especially RC-Multi) to have more activity, but that most likely wont happen anytime soon since there just aren't a lot of people who like doing it. Thanks for your input on the idea everyone. Love you Sakura <
☪©h@ÐØÖk.exe☪
you can just Download Magic set editor, its full, and provides a very good quality image (except short lores become too big, remind me of Made in china fake ygo cards)
Sleepy
No. People would still b**** and moan to have Dark Synchros. To be fair, I'd personally love it if I could find a card maker that allowed custom mechanics. I get it that many want to stay realist but I don't see anything particularly bad about wanting to make a custom mechanic and post it. I've in fact seen a couple interesting ones around. And many members like me can't really do quality digital work (or digital work at all depending on a person by person) to save our lives..... so we can't exactly use templates or create ours without much knowledge on it. Smear
I believe the mods actually have the power now to edit the cardmaker itself, it's just that the coding and other things like that are either really complicated or just buggy to work with. Flash Flyer - Sakura
If mods do have powers to edit the cardmaker, Night, evilfusion and LZ are probably the ones who hold it. I have access to ACP, but don't have access to the cardmaker's settings [think this holds true for the other normal mods as well]. But yeah, coding is a bit of a problem. Don't think Night can change it, but I can always ask if he can do it [and otherwise code Zextra's Pendulum stuff if he's able to]. As for card templates (I'll speak for Zextra's current stuff), they're more or less already prepared for you; all you need to do is edit the text you need and so forth. It does require some degree of knowledge with Photoshop or GIMP, but shouldn't be too much.
Simping For Hina
We're getting a new YCM site? Under what server this time?
Flash Flyer - Sakura
We aren't, Dae. Just some Level 3 member suggesting that we move everything to a new site that gets updated when it's supposed to (and not wait until September 2013 to add Xyz, etc).
