Mutant Monster RAEG-HAPYP
I know Yveltal is still good but what about Darkrai? In general, how are Dark decks doing in the format without Dark Patch?
Dementuo
Free retreat on all of your attackers as well as big damage output + snipe capability makes Darkrai really strong, even without the added buffs from Dark Patch.
Spinny
I run both of these @2 :D Im running a greninja-sniper deck that consists of these guys with 3 kangaskhan, consistent and purely annoying, the deck is currently doing stupidly well. VictorSempra
Malamar EX in the new set will help Dark decks a good bit to keep relevant. Darkrai is still fairly nice as a sideline, but something more like Hydreigon in Dark decks would honestly work better, cause most Dark EXes are lethal enough not to need to retreat. Spinny
Yeah but dakrai often needs to retreat because of energy crunches and stuff, also its effect works on ANYTHING with a dark energy on it which makes it 10x better than you think. Actually - the Free Retreat is one of the big reasons why Yveltal Works so well. If you have 2 of them, you only need 2 Dark Energy and a DCE to cycle between them and use Y Cyclone each turn, which 2HKOs most Pokemon.
