Mono red is pretty weak in commander, the lack of card draw really hurts it. If your going to go mono red, look into some mass land destruction spells like ruination, its what red does best, just be prepared for a lot of hate being sent your way when you threaten to cast it, lol.

I know, people suck at help you getting into a format. Don't blame me. 

 

I am not the one to talk about EDH because I hardly play it, which means not at all.

 

But a commander deck usually runs abouy 35-40 lands on average, and never below these numbers.

 

Mono-Red is a fairly strong color in EDH, while they're some staples for the Mono-Red archetype that should find room in any deck.

Kiki-Jiki + Zealous Conscripts?

 

This is a really strong combo and Kiki-Jiki is one of the best Mono-Red commanders to use if you're looking to go big. Even if not, the card always gains value by just copying creatures.

Fumiko is an interesting first commander. She works best as a semi-pillowfort strategy in multiplayer: force everyone else to attack and guide the course of battle in turn. Almost all of the little spells and creatures you have out aren't going to provide enough of a long term impact, as mentioned previously. Since games in EDH go on for so long, a little 2/2 isn't going to do anything if dropped on turn 15. Some fun stuff you may want to put in Fumiko:
