Surprisingly, Eevee can hold its own against one of its possible evolutions (but it is cute though). Ironically, all of the Espeon voters posted in here; Eevee voters remain silent in polls (but I didn't make a rule saying that you had to physically give reason for voting, then do it). Espy is still popular; probably people think Eevee is cuter. (I think it's the inverse) Hell, I made Espeon cool when that club still existed; I've been meaning to remake it for the longest time. (Probably might in anticipation for ORAS) And I still need to find someone with Eevee Safari in X/Y (I think there was a YCMer who has, but they're either inactive or some other reason). It's not that Eevee is the cutest of any of it's forms or what have you. The way I looked at this since it was Eevee vs an Eeveelution is that while Espeon is cool, I can only have Espeon with it. While if I have Eevee, I have access to any of it's forms that I choose. As I've only ever had a Jolteon in a game I'm not particularly attached to one eeveelution over another. So while Espeon is cool because Espeon, Eevee is cool because it has the potential to be anything. Like I said, probably not why anyone else voted for Eevee but that's my train of thought. I entirely understand as I don't often think of things in the way I explained either in regards to pokemon. Eevee is just a very special case when it comes to pokemon as it is all about it's potential for evolution. So my brain was weird and thought of that and that's how I decided. During the Blaziken v Umbreon match, it was discovered that 5 members with the same IP voted for the former; all of them linked to said member that just broke the tie. Zextra and I are looking into this; and should it be true; I'm going to discount that vote and both of them advance (along with the usual mod stuff). If people want the pre-evo to move on, I can't really do much about it (unless of course, someone makes multiple accounts and votes for a particular Poke) As noted earlier, I am probably going to do a mock matchup [what would've happened if the bogus votes were not counted and Umbreon was the one who advanced in place of Blaziken?] --- EDIT: In a sudden last attempt, Eevee manages to get just enough wins to outpace the mascot of Club Espeon.
