goddamnit names are a pain
Lol, I swear I saw the same deck losing badly earlier…. …*looks up DN username* OHHHHHHH =P I was wondering who the hell that was. So, can you explain what the deck does to WIN? Also, Chaos Greed is kind of awful.
ZeRainbowDash
It stops your opponent by banishing their cards, then uses Helios to power up and deal the damage. Yeah, I gave it a shot, but you're right, Chaos Greed is pretty bad. I might replace it with a Prohibition or
AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
1: With Fissure and Macro limited, it's pretty much impossible to get Chaos Greed set up. Even when they were @3 and MST was Limited it was hard to do. 2: Lightning Vortex outclasses Tribute to the Doomed in every possible way. Yes, Tribute to the Doomed can hit facedowns, but blowing up facedown monsters is a bad idea. Oh, and then there's Dark Hole/Raigeki. 3: Witch Doctor of Chaos is outclassed by Disappear is outclassed by D.D. Crow. 4: With how dead Duos and Tris are, it doesn't look like a good idea to run them @2. Hell, I'd switch the Deck's beater focus from them to Golden Homunculus if you want to win beatdown style. It's probably just bunches easier if you pester your opponent with Necroface for days and mill them clean. 5: Chaos End is outclassed by Dark Hole is outclassed by Raigeki. 6: Gold Sarc into Necroface should be a thing in this... thing. Really, you should probably move away from the idea of a supercasual Deck. But since you want to... focus more on Karma Cut, D-Pris, and ways of undoing your opponent's board. That's going to go a long ways towards making sure you don't die as easily. More staple traps help too, if you got the space.
ZeRainbowDash
Noted, I'll monkey with it. I like Trice because of the return effect. I completely forgot to add sarc...DD crow will make its way in there. I'll play around with it, combine your suggestions... And will update this. Idc about competitions or being ranked or winning tournaments. it's for complete fun, and it succeeds. I've shut down Lightsworns and Ancient gear/machina hybrid my friend made. Best I've done is a TRice OTK with 10400 ATK
Yemachu
I like Trice because of the return effect. Only downside is that it requires it to be sent to the Graveyard to be revived... Your Deck banishes cards in a rather uncontrolled fashion (just banish everything from either player). So it is rather unlikely that you can actually activate that effect. I would remove all "Helios" monsters from the deck, and replace it with some "Gren Maju Da Eiza"; that card gains 400 ATK and DEF for each of your banished cards, and is a level 3 monster. Also your deck seems to be a bit low on "Bottomless Trap Hole", maybe add 1 of those? Another, although 'risky', card that can work nicely in banish decks is "Gravekeeper's Servant". It forces your opponent to send a card from the top of the Deck to the Graveyard in order to attack. Since your cards banish any card that would be sent to the Graveyard, your opponent cannot send a card from their deck to the Graveyard; and thus your opponent cannot declare an attack. Trebuchet MS
Less Tribute to the Doomed and more Dark Core/Karma Cut. They have similar costs but fulfill better-suited roles in your Deck. Cut a couple Soul Releases, since they're dead draws when you're in a pinch. You can afford to replace them with DD Warrior Lady or something. Interdimensional Matter Transporter is somewhat clunky. Yes, it goes well with Necroface, but it doesn't combo well with the rest of the Deck, being a -1 flicker to dodge removal. Cut it to 1. Cyber Valley is awesome draw power, especially if you combo it with DD Survivor or DD Scout Plane. But without Macro or Dimensional Fissure, it's hard to set that up. Caius is a must for any banish-centric Deck. Decent body, banishes any target on Summon, and can even tack on a bonus 1000 damage - especially if it banishes itself to win a game. Add in Gold Sarcophagus - it's hilarious when combo'd with Necroface. The Helios series has too weak a powerup - even Gren Maju da Eiza has a faster growth rate. ZeRainbowDash
Alright. I'll run with Gren, but I believe that it's 300 as opposed to 400. Also, if I remember correctly, Gren only gains from your banished cards, while the Helios series gain from the entire field. I am gonna drop at least 2 Soul Release, I don't need 3. I'll drop the Chaos Greed and End. How many Caius do you recommend?
Trebuchet MS
Generally, 2-3 Caius.
Yemachu
Alright. I'll run with Gren, but I believe that it's 300 as opposed to 400. Also, if I remember correctly, Gren only gains from your banished cards, while the Helios series gain from the entire field. "Gren Maju Da Eiza" gains 400 for each of your banished cards, opposed to 100 for each banished monster; which "Helios - The Primordial Sun" gains. It thus has a bigger growth than "Helios"; also, since it is a Level 3, it requires less tributes than the upgraded versions of "Helios". You might be confusing it with "Golden Homunculus", which gains 300 ATK and DEF for each of your banished cards; it starts at 1500 ATK and DEF, but requires a tribute. But on another note, when you run "Caius the Shadow Monarch" in a banish deck, "D.D. Survivor" might be a nice addition; it returns during the End Phase of the turn it was banished from the field (face-up). If you also add "D.D. Warrior Lady" and/or "D.D. Aissailant", "Reinforcement of the Army" might also work out nicely; you get to search a decent amount of monsters from Deck. These cards are however a bit outdated in that they require battle to activate their effect. Otherwise these cards might be a nice addition to your Deck.
