Shradow
Wow, a lot happened in episode 1. This season's looking really good so far. Next episode, moar tsundere Chaika!
(GigaDrillBreaker)
Loving Vivi's dynamic with... herself. Also, YES BOHDAN YESYESYES
Rodrigo
First episode was great. Can't wait for more. Claudia seems to be an awesome character too.
Brinolovania
The hype is real! It'll be pretty cool if Chaika ends up actually becoming an effective fighter this season.
goddamnit names are a pain
I'm losing interest in this show ;-; They did a great job at bridging the gap to the next season, and I can't even tell it ended, but it just feels…painfully boring, in a way. I can't quite describe it…something just feels off with the show. I already liked Chaika (the real one hue hue hue), and she is certainly improving with more time, at least, character wise. Seeing more emotions coming out of a character is always nice. I'll probably continue to watch it, as it is certainly not worth dropping, but I probably won't keep up with it... Makο
YES. That was an awesome episode. Can't wait for the next one.
Shradow
Episode 2 was sweet as well. Seems like white Chaika's group might be taking a new direction soon. And it seems the sword-wielding hero who appeared to be the leader of the punitive force will be important this season.
Brinolovania
White and Red Chaikas are gonna meet/fight/work together/something soon, and Fredrica is actually gonna do something next episode. Basically all that matters. Also, Akari is kinda useless. Again.
Shradow
Well it's not like Toru did anything besides get captured in the spell and pump up Chaika's emotions.
Makο
To be fair, it's a lot harder to 3v1 than 2v1. So even if Akari didn't really do much, here mere presence helped a lot. And again, to be fair, characters don't always need to be doing something. Just think about real life and yourself. Some days you might be the life of the party, and others your presence might barely be noticed. I'm sure she'll have more interaction and purpose in the episodes to come. Also, I really wanted Fredrica to turn into a Dragon just to freak out the wine lady. That'd be awesome.
Shradow
I find it funny that so far no one has found out the significance of the dragoon that was part of the punitive force to kill Emperor Gaz is now helping out one of his daughters. Rodrigo
White Chaika's development is what I want to see the most. She was very useless in combat in the first season but is improving now with shorter incantations.
Shradow
Well, it was obvious that Gilette was still alive, but I'm wondering why he's working for Hartgen. They're at the island now, so I wonder how quickly things are gonna escalate.
Brinolovania
Here's hoping (/assuming) that Toru and Akari team up with red Chaika's group to not die. The more tsundere Chaika the better! It's also gonna be interesting when Vivi inevitably meets Gillete again.
Shradow
Most of the heroes we've seen so far were pretty washed up (or, you know, dead), but that Morgan guy still had some moves. EDIT: So this shirt is going on sale in December.
Makο
Holy balls. Everything just started GOING at once. Amazing. Well, I finally have my answer to "Why is Akari even there?" Her antics and encouragement keeps everything rolling. CHAIKA IS STILL THE MOST ADORABLE THING ON PLANET EARTH I also love how this is ONLY episode 3, and it already feels like a lot has happened with so much more to go. This pacing is unreal, I adore it. Want.
Shradow
I'm glad Akari actually showed that she does care about someone besides Toru this episode. EDIT: Episode 4 was good as well, finally we know the specifics of all the Chaikas. Though that raises the question. What happened to Vivi that half turned her into Chaika after the fact? And the Guys feel like they're part of something else, too.
Makο
Maybe the whole "Chaika Transformation Magic" is still in effect in some way? Who knows. But DANG SON! Chaika just lost all her meaning, plot's were dumped, events were revealed, and this is only episode FOUR. I cannot WAIT for the rest!
Shradow
WIth the pacing how it is, I can understand why there's only 10 episodes this season.

Shradow
Well, they've already caught up to the light novels. Season 1 adapted 6 of the 9 volumes (at that time, there's 10 now) alone.
Rodrigo
Loved the plot advancement. Now we know pretty much everything, but I'm still curious about Vivi.
Brinolovania
Man, this thing is fast and furious. Plot, motherf***ers!
Shradow
Well, that was one action-filled episode. I expected that girl would be able to do something big, but not in that way. Next episode we get more of Vivi and the rest of Gillette's squad, so that'll be sweet.
Brinolovania
So, this episode had: - Two Chaikas talking to each other in Chaika-speak - OMG SO TSUNDERE - Red and white Chaika groups fighting together - Magical robot girl turning into a super gundo Plus, more Vivi and friends next time...man, I love this show.
