Catman25
Vampires flopped and Harpies aren't that good so I'm gonna try to build Melodious irl. Two problems, fairly inconsistent, and also there's like no way to win unless you can stack those Sonata boosts or your opponent decks out (testing vs AI, 90% of my wins are stall-deck outs). Side deck's kinda wonky, Lava Golem for stall, Zerofyne/DNA Surgery was my gimmicky answer to any possible mirror (and it seems fun). Elegy x3 Aria x3 Hecatrice x2 Canon x1 Honest Sonata x3 Kristya x1 Mozarta x1 Francois x1 (iffy on these two) Transmodify x3 Raigeki Solo x3 Dark Hole Soul Charge Upstart x2 Foolish Celestial Transformation x1 Valhalla x2 BTH Soul Rope x0/1 TT BTS Compulse COH x2 Cards from the Sky x1 MST x2 Volcasaurus Ragnazero Corn 101 Heartlandraco Castel Starliege Paladynamo Fairy Cheer Exciton Maestroke/Pleiades L Chain Cowboy Alucard Leviair Angineer
goddamnit names are a pain
Elegy x3 Aria x3 Hecatrice x2 Canon x3 She literally does nothing for the deck, whatsoever. Just my opinion. Honest Sonata x3 Archlord Kristya 1-2, I prefer one. Mozarta or whatever 1-2. Serenade 0-2, I like one, last I checked. Transmodify x3 Raigeki Solo x3 Dark Hole Soul Charge Upstart x3 Up to you, really. You could drop for back row support, like Wiretap and more easy room for Lances/MSTs. Foolish Celestial Transformation 0-1 Valhalla x2 Cards from the Sky, 3x Lance or MST- 2-3x Probably MST, for that pesky Vanitys. BTH Soul Rope x0/1 TT BTS I'd run 2. Compulse COH x3 Maybe drop to two, could clog with Vahalla... Volcasaurus Ragnazero Corn 101 Heartlandraco Castel Starliege Paladynamo Fairy Cheer Exciton Maestroke/Pleiades L Chain Cowboy Alucard Leviair Angineer Not going to make huge comments on the E Deck, because the point in the deck is Aria+Elegy. Hope this helps. I love the Melodious, but damn yes, they are inconsistent. They need a searcher or something of the sort. Movement clogs, which sucks. I've almost considered running Summoner Monk, to give Aria immediate effects and get rid of clogging Spells. Also, I may make an Artifact build for laughs, I could see it working. Also, Solidarity could potentially be used, hahah…(-E deck, which shouldn't largely be a thing anyway…more of something to fall back on). I really, really don't see Canon doing anything in here, I'd drop her. Maybe to 1, as I have used her a FEW times, but still... Also, 1 Celestial Transformation can lead to some good plays without risking the deck and stuff. Like making Kristya a hand trap when you can't summon her =
Catman25
- Canon's for SS, suppose I could replace a couple for a Serenade and a Mozart. - Kristya I've always been iffy on in this deck because then I can't SS, and if I already got Elegy and Aria on the board then I wouldn't be too worried about the opponent SS'ing. I'll think about it though, could come in handy when I can't get the duo out or if I'm in a stall situation. - Lance I've noticed isn't that useful because I'll have Aria out most of the time then I won't be able to target my monsters. But MST I'll try to find space for. - Monk might be good, though idk if I want to be pitching Transmodifies and stuff. - Cards from the Sky sounds like the whole Pot of Duality thing, but if I get rid of the Upstarts I might try it out. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for the reply. Eew, don't pitch those. Pitch upstarts and spare First Movements. Canon literally just SS and has a pathetic attack stat. Maybe, MAYBE one for Transmodify, I could see it. Cards from the Sky can be played in multiples, unlike Pot of Duality. Just saying. Lance is more for the opponent and those crucial turns to setup the plays, but yeah, MST is sort of better this format. Kristya is either to lock for game, push for game, or stall until you get what you need. Not to mention, Valhalla and Mozart can summon her. Catman25
Still working with the main deck, but looking at NECH, what should I side for Qlips?
goddamnit names are a pain
Still working with the main deck, but looking at NECH, what should I side for Qlips? To be quite honest, I'd just quit Yugioh for a while if you want to play Divas. Qlips, while they can somewhat be sided against, (Mistake comes to mind), are fucking stupid. By flipping Skill Drain, unless you have MST, you pretty much lose in the next 1-2 turns, and all of the Divas lose the boosts they have. This is not an OTK deck, Qlips are. I don't think you can side in power to match that, and just would quit until then. However, Mistake is a good place to start….uh, I'm not sure about the rest. Backrow hate? Trapstun? Catman25
Yeah realized it's not the best matchup haha. But you're right, especially if Qlips are going to be prevalent, Divas aren't going to be the best deck to run (they're not the best regardless of the meta haha). Been experimenting with Raccoons with some success because opening with Naturia Beast cripples Qlips, might get around to posting that deck some time. I've fought this one guy who played Racoons a bunch of times in rated and unrated, and I must say, Racoons kill Necloth moreso than Qlips. Because Mistake severely cripples both, but A. Qlips don't always have to give a fuck, see Skill Drain and/or removal such as Genome and B. Necloth=searchdeck.dek But Racoons are damn silly, xD But it'll be at least 6-7 months before Yugioh can be remotely fun for anything non-Qlip, and more before Burning Abyss and Shadoll die out. Though I'd take Dolls over Qlips anyway. I'm disappointed if what I heard was true, which was that SECE won't have any Divas. They need consistency, badly.
