A RACE FOR POKEMON KNOWLEDGE!

Pokemon are a major part of life in the land of Lovias, but little real research has been done on the area's native species. Prof. Ruby is out to change this, and he's asking brave and talented Pokemon Trainers to help him track down all of Lovias' Native Pokemon. Unfortunately, the professor is already a step behind - a mysterious organization known as Team Dimension (also researching Pokemon) seems to have learned something that will allow them to reshape Lovias forever....

Towns & City's

All events must be cleared in each city and town before moving onto another location.

 

Routes

All events must also be cleared to enter another location. You can enter another location after entering a Route by Posting 5 times within a Route. Pokemon Battles do not count towards the 5 post requirement. To enter a pokemon battle, WILD, when in a Route post "Walking In Grass" or something Close. If you desire a pokemon battle with a trainer, you ask the person who is in the same route as you for a battle. If you are asked you must accept.

First Step

Your career as a pokemon trainer starts when you receive your first pokemon from proffesor Ruby.

 

Pokedex Completion

Every time you encounter a new pokemon, it's data will be saved in in a digital catalog known as a pokedex. Prof. Ruby wants you to see every one of Lovias' Pokemon, and won't be able to complete the entire game until you do!

 

Protect Lovias

As a trainer you responsability is to protect the region, meaning stop Team Dimension.

 

Become Champion

Go through and beat all the Gym Leaders and earn the Gym Badges. Then go to The Pokemon League, and become the Pokemon Champion.

 

Upon completion of the following tasks, you will receive the following prizes:

1. Complete Lovias Pokedex: 50 Points

2. Complete National Pokedex: 100 Points & 6 REPs

3. Become League Champion: 50 points & 1 REP

4. Win Battle Tower: 10 Points

5. Beat Story Mode: 50 Points

Wild Pokemon Encounter's

1. Tall Grass: When in a Route

Simply by posting, "Walking In Grass" and i will put a pokemon battle into place.

Post "Surfing" to encounter a WATER-type pokemon battle.

When in a cave, a battle will automatically start for every post, "Walking in cave".

Experience

When in a pokemon battle, after you have finished you will receive EXP (Your pokemons Lv x # of Posts between you and the wild pokemon)

1. Adaptability: Doubles the power of a move when its the same type as the pokemon.

2. Aftermath: When pokemon faints, HP of the opponent who dealt the final blow is reduced by 1/4 of maximum.

3. Air Lock: Prevents pokemon from being affected by weather during battle.

4. Anger Point: Increases attack to maximum level when attacked with a critical hit.

5. Anticipation: Warns when opponent pokemon has supereffective moves or one-hit KO moves.

6. Arena Trap: Prevents foe from switching pokemon or escaping; not effective against Flying-types and pokemon with Levitate/ Increases chance of meeting Pokemon when Pokemon is in the leading team.

7. Battle Armor: Helps pokemon avoid Critical Hits.

8. Blaze: Multiplies power of pokemon's Fire-type attacks by 1.5 when it's Hp falls below 1/3 it's maximum.

9. Chlorophyll: Doubles a pokemon's Speed during strong sunlight.

10. Clear Body: Prevents an opponents move from lowering your pokemons stats.

11. Cloud Nine: Eliminates all weather effects in battle.

12. Color Change: Changes pokemon type to match the type of attack that hit it.

13. Compoundeyes: Increases accuracy 30% / Increases chances of meeting wild pokemon with held items when the pokemon is in the teams leading position.

14. Cute Charm: Attracts opponent's pokemon 30% of the time when opponent strikes pokemon/ Increases chances of meeting wild pokemon of opposite gender when the pokemon is the teams leading pokemon.

15.Damp: Prevents all pokemon in battle from using selfdistruct and explosion.
