Radiant F.U.R.Y.™ Posted September 27, 2014 Report Share Posted September 27, 2014 The Miracle Spirit (M. スピリット) archetype consists of LIGHT monsters whose effects generally centralize around Summoning "Miracle Tokens" by doing various things with/to Spell and Trap cards. Many also gain effects from having these tokens out, and some even give effects to the tokens. All Miracle Spirit Monsters' names are in some way associated with light. They are almost always Spellcaster-Type, Warrior-Type, or Fairy-Type, however there are some exceptions (as of right now, the only exception is M. Spirit Dragon). The archetype, as a whole, is quite large (over 60 cards, not including support). For that reason, I have compiled a more brief list of the cards in this archetype, which i believe have the most synergy, and best represent the over-arching concept/theme/flavor of the M. Spirit Archetype. Below this abbreviated list is where you'll find support cards for this archetype, and below that, a full list of all cards in the archetype, if you decide you'd like to check them out. [spoiler=Main Deck] [spoiler=M. Spirit - Airglow] Cannot be Summoned while you control another face-up "M. Spirit" monster. When this card is Summoned: Target 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field; Special Summon 1 "Miracle Token" (Spellcaster-Type/LIGHT/Level 2/ATK 300/DEF 100). If the targeted card leaves the field: Tribute 1 "Miracle Token" you control; Then, if you do, add 1 Spell or Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. You cannot activate or set any Spell or Trap Cards from your hand this turn. [/spoiler] [spoiler=M. Spirit - Aurora] Cannot be Summoned while you control another face-up "M. Spirit" monster. If this card is destroyed by battle: You can discard up to 3 Spell Cards; Special Summon "Miracle Tokens" (Spellcaster-Type/LIGHT/Level 2/ATK 300/DEF100) equal to the number of Spell Cards discarded. Spirit - Magnificence] Possible Boss Monster? Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 2 "M. Spirit" monsters in your Graveyard while you control no other face-up "M. Spirit" monsters. If this card is Special Summoned this way: You can discard 1 card; destroy all of your opponent's Spell and Trap Cards and Special Summon a number of "Miracle Tokens" (Spellcaster-Type/LIGHT/Level 2/ATK 300/DEF100) up to the number of Spell and Trap Cards destroyed this way. Increase the ATK and DEF of all "Miracle Tokens" you control by 1500. If it was a Monster Card: you can Special Summon it, ignoring any Summoning Conditions (Its effect(s) is negated), or increase your Life Points by 300 X the Level of the discarded monster. During the Damage Step, if this card attacked, or was attacked; You can return 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field to its owner's hand; Special Summon 1 "Miracle Token" (Spellcaster-Type/LIGHT/Level 2/ATK 300/DEF 100). If this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard: Send this card to the Field Spell Card Zone and treat it as a a Field Spell with this effect: Once per turn, you can tribute any number of Level 2 or lower monsters you control, that have the same Attribute; Target 1 monster with that Attribute in your Graveyard whose Level is equal to or less than the combined Levels of the Tributed Monster(s), then if you do, add that target to your hand. Up to twice per turn, you can send 1 banished Spell or Trap Card to its owner's Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Miracle Token" (Spellcaster-type/LIGHT/Level 2/ATK 300/DEF 100) and, if you do, destroy 1 set Spell or Trap Card on the field. If you control at least 3 "Miracle Tokens": This card is not destroyed by battle or card effects (Damage Calculation is applied normally). If you control less than 3 "Miracle Tokens": This card is not affected by card effects that do not target this card. [/spoiler] [spoiler=M. Spirit - Illumination] 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Monsters This card can only be Synchro Summoned while there are 4 or more "M. Spirit" monsters in your Graveyard and if it will be the only face-up "M. Spirit" monster you control. Once per turn, you can banish 1 "M. Spirit" monster in your Graveyard; add 1 Spell or Trap Card from your Graveyard to your hand. If you activated this effect: You can Special Summon 1 "Miracle Token" (Spellcaster-Type/LIGHT/Level 3/ ATK 300/ DEF 100). While you control this face-up card: "Miracle Tokens cannot be selected as attack targets, and "Miracle Tokens" you control can attack your opponent directly. [/spoiler] [spoiler=M. Spirit - Laser] 2 Level 3 LIGHT monsters Cannot be Summoned while you control another face-up "M. Spirit" monster. When this card is selected as an attack target, you can Tribute 1 LIGHT monster you control; End the Battle Phase. When this card with no Xyz Materials is selected as an attack target: Banish it, then, if you did, add 1 banished Spell/Trap Card to its owner's hand, and Special Summon 1 "Miracle Token" (Spellcaster-Type/LIGHT/Level 2/ATK 300/DEF 100). [/spoiler] [spoiler=M. Spirit - Lightning] 1 "M. Spirit" Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner LIGHT Monsters During the End Phase of the turn that this card was Synchro Summoned, destroy this card. During your Standby Phase, you can banish all monsters in your Graveyard that were used as Synchro Materials for the Synchro Summon of this card; Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. If this card is Special Summoned this way: Destroy 1 set card on the field. If the destroyed card was a Spell or Trap Card: Special Summon 1 "Miracle Token" (Spellcaster-type/LIGHT/Level 2/ATK 300/DEF 100) to its controller's side of the field. During your Main Phase 2, you can reveal 2 Spell/Trap Cards in your hand, and if you do, Special Summon those cards as "Miracle Tokens" (Spellcaster-Type/LIGHT/Level 2/ATK 300/DEF 100). this card gains 300 ATK and DEF for each "Miracle Token" you control. When a LIGHT monster you control would be destroyed, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card and attach 1 of your banished Spell or Trap Cards to this card as a face-up Xyz Material; LIGHT monsters cannot be destroyed until the next Phase of this turn. Once per turn, you can Tribute all "Miracle Tokens" you control and target a number of LIGHT monsters you control, up to the number of Tributed "Miracle Tokens"; The targeted monsters can attack your opponent directly this turn. If this card has no Xyz Materials: During your next Main Phase 2, Special Summon 1 "Number 116: M. Spirit - Excitance" from your Graveyard and equip this card to it as an Xyz Material and increase its original ATK by 500. You are simply doing too much. Maybe there is a playstyle somewhere, but I honestly cannot feel bothered to look through 64 cards just to find out. Do you even have one? I never intended the whole archetype to go into 1 Deck Also, this has been a long time project of mine (Like 2+ years). This is just a centralization of the archetype for easy viewing. I can add a seperate spoiler with an abbreviated list to reflect what I consider to be the staple cards, and my personal favorites. Then, you'd have the choice of a brief overview of the "core" of the M. Spirit Archetype or a full listing of all cards in it. How does that sound? I never intended the whole archetype to go into 1 Deck Which is fair in some cases, such as Prophecy, but still, 64. That's more than any other Archetype, and you say you have more to come? Overextending is not a good thing, it just means that you aren't going to be focused on one thing. I learned this when I build my Light-Up! Archetype, and that didn't even have 20 cards. Looking at some of the cards, you seem to go in many different directions instead of focusing on one theme, Archetypes typically want to do that to create the most synergy.
