Goose
I'm looking for the classics. Stuff by Mozart, Handel, Bach, Chei-i dont know his name. That stuff. I want to be reminded of my early childhood. Beethoven appreciated still, but less desired.

Maeriberii Haan
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETNoPqYAIPI What about Dvorak? He's great.
Goose
@Dracoswag - Moonlight Sonata is my favourite piece by Beethoven (or at least my most listened to) @Nai - I'll give it a listen. I don't think I listened to any Dvorak when I was around 5, but it will still be good.
Maeriberii Haan
How about something newer, like Stravinsky? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlCzpkpQ3qs Or for something older, Vivaldi? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRxofEmo3HA
Thar
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ho9rZjlsyYY Baroque, not classical, but f*cking hell, I love it so much.
Goose
I listened to New World Symphony and it sounded very LotR-esque. Very nice. Already a huge Four Seasons fan. Definitely will listen to Stravinsky. Never heard of them, but I trust you.
.Rai
If you're looking for the recognisable stuff, people have posted most of it. Other stuff like Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik or Debussy's Clair de lune is nice. Maybe Beethoven's Emperor Concerto. Saint-Saëns, Carnival of the Animals. Stuff like that. If you wanna dig a bit deeper, Rachmaninoff probably has some of the most gorgeous Romantic works. Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini's good.
Tentacruel
Already a huge Four Seasons fan. Definitely will listen to Stravinsky. Never heard of them, but I trust you. Thar
Rite of Spring is amazing, and Fantasia captured it PERFECTLY.
Maeriberii Haan
Rite of Spring is amazing, and Fantasia captured it PERFECTLY. I actually remember reading somewhere that Stravinsky objected how Fantasia used it, but I forget about the detail.
.Rai
I actually remember reading somewhere that Stravinsky objected how Fantasia used it, but I forget about the detail. I wouldn't be too surprised. All of the Fantasia versions of the pieces are shortened and adapted, and Stravinsky was that sort of man.

Goose
Can we broaden the topic to anything symphonic? I love that shit
.Rai
http://austinwintory.bandcamp.com/track/apotheosis By far the most modern example here (basically because it's from a video game), but guy is an amazing composer, and this piece absolutely gorgeous. It makes more sense in context with the melody introduced in the first piece, but it's fairly glorious. It's obvious why this was the first video game soundtrack to be nominated for a Grammy.
