We had trouble deciding between the colour and BW but eventually agreed on colour.
It was passed around a few times during the process but yeah, I like what we ended up with.

I really wanted to like this but the way the back of the render is just white and on top of the red backdrop really ruins it for me, light source is just really floaty and doesn't appear to exist in a logical fashion, it looks nice but I don't personally like it.

Fair points, see what you mean about the backdrop thing and the lighting haha.

I can get behind that reasoning actually, to a certain extent. 

 

I personally prefer the b/w because it hides a lot of the flaws, but generally the synthetic lighting, and the questionable highlights/shadows just make it feel odd. The render placement coupled with the BG and c4d's is pretty fire though, if the two of you can just cook up some mean atmo then you'll probably take the entire tournament. 

 

Keep it up, the first one's always the hardest.

Bit too much going on here imo, basically a lot of stuff away from the focal that pulls my gaze. Some cool colors were in the works, although as night said bw compensates for some of the lighting and stuff.

I like the colored version better but IMO the focal is overblended which results in the tag looking pretty flat.
