[OCG] October Diamond Dude Turbo

Ok so as you guys all know by now, the October Banlist hit DD Turbo hard from last format with

1) Monk Limit

2) DAD Limit

3) Soul Charge Limit

4) Star Seraph Sovereign limit

 

The general consensus among the OCG players now is that there needs to be methods to combat the new threat of Shaddoll's royal oppression as well as the already large danger of Quiphoths. DAD and the Seraph Engine are essentially dead which shifts the focus of the deck back from rank 4 3 mats to rank 4 2 mats and fusions. So into the deck I guess. Since most of you guys are TCG and are doing me a huge favor if you comment, I'll write in any limit regs on side of card

 

Monsters-12

 

3x Destiny Hero Diamond Dude-MVP of the deck, this card is what speed the deck up, with its effect will nearly always have more than a 50% chance of milling a spell. It also becomes a easy to search combo piece with Destiny Draw. Little to small for BTH, but it certainly works. Opens Martial Law

1x Elemental Hero Blazeman-Works as a Prisma that actually works. Usually you don't use the second effect because of the restriction, but searching poly is invaluable

2x Elemental Hero Blazeman (semi-limited)-Rank 4 plays, opens Abzero and Acid

3x Elemental Hero Shadow Mist-Surprised this card wasn't hit. Mask Change searcher and works as a Stratos when it hits the grave. You will need to use it carefully due to the OPT, but upon a little usage of the deck it becomes clear when to use what. This is the card you want to discard (if you must)

1x Elemental Hero Stratos (limited) <3

1x Summoner Monk (limited) The 1 card toolbox, with 24 spells its never really dead, its another way to t1 Martial law or Shockmaster if you go for Stratos. Limiting it hurts the deck, but unlike DAD its still worth at it at 1.

1x Unknown Synchron-The "Shi En" Tech, it worked for him and it seems to do so for me. I suppose the card was a little stronger last format where Armades was an amazing lv5 Sync in the meta, now its mostly for Trishula. I guess you can ask the question is Trishula worth it? Upon 1+ format of testing it sure as hell is. Between the recycling methods in this deck, Trish being water, and it being so damn hard to stop in a format where BTH and Compuls are the main cards its honestly worth it.
 

Spells-25 21 Normal

 

2x A Hero Lives (semi-limited)- I really hate using this card T1, but T1 Martial Law is pretty damn powerful. If this card is milled by Dude, it becomes even more amazing as it has no restrictions what so ever. 

1x Allure of Darkness (limited)-Draw Card, the new OCG errata makes it so you have to banish dark even if you Dude it, so use it a bit carefully

3x Destiny Draw-Must have in the deck with Dude as easy to get as he is, this really speeds the deck up

2x E-Emergency Call-3 Clogs a bit with so many ways to search and draw everything in the deck. Two seems like the ideal number

1x Foolish Burial (limited)-=Stratos of the deck with Dark Mist

1x Heavy Storm (limited)-Boom to Pendulum scales

3x Instant Fusion-Noden helps keep the deck glued together post Soul limit. It honestly does a lot better of a job due to water/less expensive/less restrictive

1x Lightning Vortex-Like all other Hero decks, this deck's nightmare is hand clogging with monsters, no fear, LV is really good as killing a field of Egrystel in Shaddoll and most non killler Quiphoth fields. If milled by D-dude it becomes a raigeki

2x Magical Excavation Stone (semi-limited)-This serves the same purpose as ^. If milled with Dude it can instantly get you back any of your limited spells or w/e

3x Mask Change-Way into Martial Law/Heavy Storm 2.0/The other guy

1x Monster Reborn (limited)-Nuff said

2x Night Beam-better than MST sorta in this deck as it can combo with dude. It can stop cards from reacting, so super poly is dead. That and Compuls should be the main dangers

1x Polymerization-searchable by blazeman, hand thinning, Abzero makes opponents field ground zero

1x Pot of Avarice (limited)-you will find that you burn through your monsters real fast, this and Daigusto barely make it enough recycling power. Rulings are in flux about this +Dude. It was Judge ruled at one torn that you can shuffle any 5 card, but eitherway its does a vital role

1x Soul Charge (limited)-Super Reborn

 

Traps-3

 

3x Compulsory Evacuation Device-Ideally the best Trap OCG has to offer, it may be a neg -1 when not used on a extra deck monster, but its really puts in work as every card you bounce makes a huge impact

 

Extra-15 7 Fusion 1 Synchro 7 XYZ

 

2x Elder God Noden- the instant grave toolbox for the deck, the cards you want to go for are ideally Dark Mist or Unknown, but you can mask change w/e. This card makes up for any loss that SC limit had

1x Elemental Hero Abzero-Make the opponents field ground zero if its removed in anynon 101 way, gets massive attack gains off water monsters, sadly this is my only real way of killing killer

1x Masked Hero Acid-Heavy Storm

2x Masked Hero Dark Law- One Sided Macro this is what you will summon most often

1x Masked Hero Kazakami- Draw power, and staller (?)

1x Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barriar (limited) possibly the best single card in OCG atm. It cleans out three areas when summoned avoids BTH, Compuls and Trollential

1x Abyss Dweller=No shaddolls, this card can also rapidly increase atk for my water monsters

1x Cair..something guy-This card is one of the most interesting card I have seen in some time, its ability to redirect can really be useful in a format with Quip effects targeting, Change targeting, Compuls targeting.

1x Castel, the Skyblaster Musketeer-Spinning Removal

1x Digusto Emraldo- Mini PoA in a nut shell

1x Laval Chain-Foolish Burial but you CAN mill spells if you must

1x Number 101-Silent Honors Knight- Possibly the best form of removal in the game and yet again water type

1x Number 16- Shocking Cock Buster-A lot harder to drop, but call spells 90% of the time

I really don't know the OCG, but shouldn't RotA be in over E Call?

 

Also, you say "searching Poly is invaluable" yet play only one? With no Miracle Fusion or Mask Charge I don't see how it would be that good, since your only target is a single Absolute Zero.

Do think its smart to cut Blaze and go for even more Removal?

 

 "searching Poly is invaluable"  is invaluable since Abzero is the only really good one that can get over killer fast since I have so so many waters and he easily has the best atk, also him going ground zero is really good. More than one would not work with how fast my deck can generate adv. In july you ran 3 for poly sync turbo but the deck is slower now
