Why hello there. Take a seat and please, call me Iceorama (that's what I use just about everywhere else. I must have created an account on here sometime in the past and forgot about it.) Before I explain a little bit about myself, I should probably give a warning. I'm not really into the game to much (it was a considerable time ago, around GX era, but fell off and was just kinda watching it from a distance) but have been recently holding friendly duels with friends at a bar I frequent, and have been using custom decks that have been surprisingly balanced. I decided I wanted to create a little bit more of a solid card for use, and this lead me straight to this site, so needless to say I'm not going to be up to current meta. (before hand I was using some old cards and a computer containing a word document containing a card to card translator... ugh.)

I tend to create decks that have admittedly broken mechanics (such as taking away Mainphase 1 and the Draw Phase), as well as decks that don't work on paper, but work well in play. In addition I tend to coin terms or new mechanics to go along side with these (such as effects that become part of the game only when there are certain cards in the decks, which can't be negated) Aside from card creation, in my free time I'm a writer that writes stories that include a boat load of things that are not only controversial, but sometimes straight up messed up (Forbidden Entities being my project of focus till the end of time, and in that series the Genocidal peeps are the ones that are the Good guys). I'm a father of 2 adorable babies (there twins, a boy and a girl. They where born in June of this year). I come from a post-Amish town that allows pretty much everything but cameras (I'm not even kidding you when I say that if you came here, took a picture, then tried to get service here, you would get nothing but a middle finger from the entire town), Its still pretty isolated though, and isn't even on the map.

 

Just one final note, I have a bit of a special thing to note about the cards I make: they will not have pictures. I cannot physicaly draw, and as someone who used to be able to draw, I tend to feel a bit... sickly? If I take someone's artwork. Not to mention I have a tendency to have very specific picture designs when designing a card, so I won't find what I needed anyways. Not to mention that the cards that I create tend to be evolutions/ degradings of previously made official cards, such as Blue-eyes, Red-eyes, and Cyber Dragon (those being the top 3 I use)

Make sure you've read our rules and agree to follow them.

 

In terms of your card concepts, it would be best to post them in the Experimental Card section until you can figure out how to make them work, without making them broken. Once you fix those, feel free to start posting them in the Realistic Card section.

 

Before you post cards, I'd advise you read the guides in the sections so you get an idea of what to do / not to do.

 

 

Anyway, feel free to ask me for any help regarding the site as a whole, or matters related to Custom Cards.
