Smile HD
Played Malefics ever since they came out, back when I was the scrubbiest of scrubs. Fast-forward to now, and I'm only a small percentage of scrub. [spoiler=Decklist] Monsters (17): [acronym='Who doesn't like a 4k beater for minimal cost?']Malefic Cyber End Dragon (3)[/acronym] [acronym='Basically a Skill Drain staple.']Beast King Barbaros (3)[/acronym] [acronym='Field Protection is great, plus I can go for R8's with Barbaros.']Malefic Stardust Dragon (3)[/acronym] [acronym='Stops searches, and can still stop a Special Summon under Skill Drain.']Thunder-King Rai-Oh (1)[/acronym] [acronym='Searches Necrovalley.']Gravekeeper's Commandant (3)[/acronym] [acronym='Needed draw power.']Cardcar D (2)[/acronym] [acronym='No one ever realizes that Wisel can negate Spells once per turn. Also, lolYangZings.']Meklord Emperor Wisel (2)[/acronym] Spells (12): [acronym='It was this or Advance Draw. I can't use Cyber End for this, but I don't have to Summon for it.']Trade-In (1)[/acronym] [acronym='Staple.']Dark Hole (1)[/acronym] [acronym='3000 extra LP won't really matter much.']Upstart Goblin (3)[/acronym] [acronym='Staple.']Mystical Space Typhoon (2)[/acronym] [acronym='Someone wants to run over 1900 Beast King? Oh, that's cool, he's at 3400 now.']Forbidden Chalice (2)[/acronym] [acronym='Blocks the grave, hurts a lot of decks.']Necrovalley (3)[/acronym] Traps (12): [acronym='I enjoy being able to chain this to Mathematician or Sinister Shadow Games and not having it stopped by MST.']Different Dimension Ground (1)[/acronym] [acronym='Staple.']Mirror Force (1)[/acronym] [acronym='Staple.']Dimensional Prison (2)[/acronym] [acronym='Makes Wisel dead, but aside from that, it doesn't hurt me all that much. Hits Shaddolls pretty hard, though.']Macro Cosmos (1)[/acronym] [acronym='Sort of like a Skill Drain for the grave. I main it because I prefer to have at least a small chance against Shaddolls & others in Game 1.']Soul Drain (1)[/acronym] [acronym='Hits a lot of things hard, like the SatellaNutellas.']Skill Drain (3)[/acronym] [acronym='I use this over Wiretap because it can stop MST.']Dark Bribe (2)[/acronym] [acronym='Staple.']Solemn Warning (1)[/acronym] Extra (15): [acronym='Required for Malefic']Cyber End Dragon (3)[/acronym] [acronym='lolShaddolls']El Shaddoll Construct (1)[/acronym] [acronym='lolCyberDragons&MPBs']Chimeratech Fortress Dragon (2)[/acronym] [acronym='See Construct.']El Shaddoll Winda (1)[/acronym] [acronym='Required for Malefic.']Stardust Dragon (3)[/acronym] [acronym='Only used it once, and it was while Skill Drain was active, so it was a 4k beater. Personally, I prefer 107 instead.']Number 62: Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon (1)[/acronym] [acronym='Loves Mathematician, and others that have grave effects.']Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon (1)[/acronym] [acronym='Someone once used Ojama Trio against me, so I overlaid into this and cleared their field. ...They quit.']Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis (1)[/acronym] [acronym='This is such a good card. Sort of like an alternate Lance. I wish I had the money to drop on one irl.']Divine Dragon Knight Felgrand (1)[/acronym] [acronym='I added him just because I wanted other R8 options. I haven't had much of a chance to use him yet.']Alsei, the Sylvan High Protector (1)[/acronym] Side (15): [acronym='lolMachineArchetypes']Cyber Dragon (2)[/acronym] [acronym='Alternate draw power.']Allure of Darkness (1)[/acronym] [acronym='Good as a side against SatellaNutellas, Shaddolls, and pretty much everything else in the top tier this format.']Soul Release (1)[/acronym] [acronym='Definitely the best card to use against Shaddolls ']Royal Tribute (1)[/acronym] [acronym='Actually a pretty good card to have against Shaddolls.']Super Polymerization (2)[/acronym] [acronym='Definitely pretty good in this deck. SS a Malefic, banish a monster. Deals with stuff like Hands, Shaddolls, etc.']Dimension Slice (2)[/acronym] [acronym='lolSatellaNutella']Light-Imprisoning Mirror (2)[/acronym] [acronym='lolShaddolls&BA']Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror (2)[/acronym] [acronym='Stops hand traps like Honest. Stops grave stuff too, and can actually be chained, unlike Soul Drain.']Debunk (2)[/acronym] [/spoiler] Overall, it has about an 80-85% consistency, which is pretty good. Toffee.
Aside from letting Malefics self-destruct, how often does Wisel hit the field? Curious.
Smile HD
Mirror Force, Dark Hole, and the like. So maybe about half the time. It's nice to still keep a monster on the field if they MST Necro or Skill Drain.
