Darj
While face-up on the field, this card is also WIND-Attribute. You can banish 1 DARK monster and 1 WIND monster from your Graveyard; Special Summon this card from your hand. You can banish 1 DARK monster and 1 WIND monster from your hand; Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. Your opponent cannot Set any cards on the field. I noticed some Burning Abyss decks in DN were running this along Koa'ki Meiru Dooms, and I was surprised. I mean, I have always liked this card because it is a sort of BLS boss for DARK/WINDs, but I never expected it to have an actual impact on the metagame someday. Discuss Dark Simorgh in the current metagame. Is it a legit tech? or is it too gimmicky? etc.
Spinny
Pretty Gimmicky, i dont usually see it in the metagame.... But that aside its a good card but i never would think it has a major role in any meta...
Sander
Why are people even running Doom in Burning Abyss.dek anyways? It cannot stop the BA's from killing themselves if it's on the field, so it's only use is Tour Guide fodder, which the deck has plenty of to go around. Honestly, if they want a WIND target for Dark Simorgh, they can play, idk Raiza / Eccentric Boy?
(GigaDrillBreaker)
I used it last year in my constellar/fire fist/reborn tengu/rabbit anti-meta deck. The fact that it is an EEV target with built in summoning conditions that could also go rank 7 with chaos hunter made it one of the best cards in the deck.
