Hioco Posted September 9, 2014 Report Share Posted September 9, 2014 Both have no depth and no atmo in my opinion. Colours are off on the second and there's not enough lighting. I'd steer clear from the black borders if I was you they're a little too 2009. Also with text, unless you're rather good with it (which is something you have to practice quite a lot, I'm terrible with it myself), I'd not include it and focus more on the focal getting most of the attention. Twenty-five Zero Oh-oh Posted September 10, 2014 Report Share Posted September 10, 2014 Work on your lighting/decrease the contrast. What I would do to apply a quick fix for this is to darken all parts that are white or close to 100/100 value and possibly increase the saturation of the brighter areas. Because you have a lot of black/dark spots, you should still get the harsh contrast/lighting that I think you were going for while getting a more realistic look.
