Nicο
This is outdated, I guess: Just putting it out there in a way it'll get seen for a longer period of time. It's not important, but it was noticed and is wrong now.
Ezmoe
Jeez, I didn't think you'd actually do it. But the outdated part is correct, I mean you can't upgrade the card template and not maker..
Flash Flyer - Sakura
If we were still in 2002-2003ish, then it would've been fine. It's a minor quirk, yes, but should be changed. (Though most of you should be able to know Magic/Spell Cards are the same thing; just that the latter is to avoid confusion with MtG)
Simping For Hina
There aren't any Magic cards in Magic: The Gathering, babe.

Greiga
There aren't any Magic cards in Magic: The Gathering, babe. Every card is a Magic card, just like every YGO card is a Yu-Gi-Oh! card.
Goose
The site didn't even exist in 2002-2003 so yeah this shouldn't be there.
Simping For Hina
Every card is a Magic card, just like every YGO card is a Yu-Gi-Oh! card. Nope. Every card in MTG is a Magic: the Gathering card.
Chiz Fri
Nope. Every card in MTG is a Magic: the Gathering card. Yu-Gi-Oh! was originally called "Magic and Wizards" in the first debut of the card game. It was changed to "Duel Monsters" in the anime and manga when there was an uproar on how the manga should focus on the card game, due to the fact that the quite obvious nod to Magic the Gathering and Wizards of the Coast pioneering the TCG stage could cause trouble in the long run. Magic cards (the ones today known as Spell cards) are still in reference to MTG because, quite frankly, just saying "Magic" makes people think of MTG. So it doesn't matter if you call them "Magic Cards," "MTG cards," "The Gathering cards," etc. Because there was such a close similarity, Konami and Shonen Jump wanted to avoid a lawsuit for infringement and renamed the cards in October of 2003. Your trivia for the day, serving to quell sass since 1996.
Nicο
The site didn't even exist in 2002-2003 so yeah this shouldn't be there. Wow really then all the more reason to. Actually, I pretty much knew this, it just never came to mind to think of both that and what this topic is about at the same time.

No one would be confused by Magic/Trap being right near a YGO card when there is already the Spell Type of card.

Nicο
Protip: Dae only supports thing Goose supports. The site didn't even exist in 2002-2003 so yeah this shouldn't be there. But actually right. It isn't like anyone would be confused. But that piece of trivia states it was done to avoid a lawsuit and now here were are, with technically the wrong term on a site made after the term was changed, but it's only in one place not many would notice most of the time. So it's still pretty much unimportant compared to other things, but it's still being pointed out for some reason. Also i made the thread that let people be more aware of that pointing out, so idk why I'm saying this.
