Atypical-Abbie
I realized that you could have 2 contest up at the same time, so why not take advantage of that! Rules and Rewards: All YCM and 1v1 Leaderboard rules apply First to 3 votes wins. Winner gets a rep from the opponent (and anyone else as well if they want) Votes must be with valid reasoning, going "Card A wins" won't do, follow the Leaderboard rules! Entry Requirements and Theme: Make a card that Special Summons a monster. Image or written, either is fine. I might change the text of the card so it's more obvious that I didn't make it (since most people have poor OCG (totally arrogant of me to say that, but whatever)). Send a PM to me with your cards, and make sure that it's not possible to see who made the card, i.e. remove your name from it. Deadline: Opponent sign-up date: 12th of September at 00:00 CET Contest end date: 12th of September at 00:00 CET
2 Level 4 Normal monsters If there is a face-up Normal monster on the field, this card cannot be destroyed by Battle. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Banish 1 Effect monster from your Graveyard to Special Summon 1 Normal monster from your hand or Deck.

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned by banishing 2 or more Sea Serpent-Type monsters from your Graveyard. Once per turn, when this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can target 1 of your banished monsters, then discard 1 card; Special Summon that target in Attack Position, and if you do, you can have its ATK and DEF become 0 and this card can make a second attack in a row. You can only control 1 "Dark Mersquid Emperor".

The15thWing
Card A: The Equalizer ----------------------------- So, right of the bat, 2 Normal Monsters is rather unique, and obviously Rescue Rabbit will be the main thing making this card. Otherwise I suppose it would be slightly more difficult. The first effect is definitely nice, considering it's somewhat lower Attack, and the fact it really does want a Normal Monster out. The second effect, is quite powerful, since it makes this card a 2400 Battle Immune card with a Normal Monster Beatstick for not much of a cost, but I don't think it's that bad. Considering the difficulties in summoning it, and the fact you have to banish an Effect Monster, and not just any, meaning you can't detach, and Banish the material, makes it just powerful enough to be a threat, but not abusable. Card B: Dark Mersquid Emperor ------------------------------------------ It's a DARK Sea-Serpent, which is definitely unique, it really doesn't have many uses, though. I suppose it can be used in Sea-Serpent decks, but it's effects don't seem to help it's type much. So it pretty much becomes a Mermail card. This card is a Level 7 to Xyz with, discards for it's effect, and can Special Summon the Banished Mermails with it's eff. It's kinda just an Xyz Tool for said Archetype. The lack of Sea-Serpents is worrying, however, as IIRC only Megalo and Leed are Sea-Serpents, and it's not the easiest thing in placing 2 Sea-Serpent Mermails in the Grave, although it can be done. Also, the summoned Monster does get moved to 0/0, meaning that's not all Sugar and Rainbows, and it needs to destroy something to do the Summoning. It can still Xyz Main Phase 2, but it's not the most useful effect. My vote goes to Card A. Even with some more Sea-Serpent Mermails, I can't see much use for Card B, whereas Card A has some rather niche uses.

Duel Emperor
I vote for card A. It can change Rabbit into a 2400 and 3000 beater, and has a great protection while you control a Normal Monster which could be setup by itself. Card B has a unique typing and also being a quite easy Rank 7 fodder, but destruction by battle is too slow nowadays.

Love of Ghibli
I shall vote for A as well. A: While It is hilariously a Rabbit set-up, the fact that Rabbit can lead to Blue-eyes and this thing is awesome. Second I am loving how this provides odd support for some rogue decks like Gem-Knights. The attack is well balanced and it doesn't cost seem to match the effect. B: Its sad really the card itself is good but the only thing holding it back from greatness would be its attribute. Since the Atlanteans are sea-serpents and they would love discard outlet that specials summons their banished brothers. At the same time the Emperor not being WATER is probably the one thing that keep this balanced as a whole. That balance, in my opinion, is what makes the other card better.
