Aix
Symphonic Conductor is really badly designed. It's a +2 out of nowhere for no real reason. You just Summon a Symphonic Warrior and boom, Summon this card from your Extra Deck, then Summon another Symphonic Warrior of your choice and draw a card after you make your combo go through. Swarm the field. Yay.Pygmy Skull is actually kinda cool, though a bit weak.Vote to Card A.
Darj
Card A: It looks decent actually. With the discard effect it pays off the -1 you took from Xyz Summoning it, it pokes the opponent, and after the Battle Phase it can either Xyz-evolve into Downerd or threat the opponent with a second discard if you have enough backrow to protect it. Card B: It's basically free advantage. Can be Xyz Summoned without cost, you can use its effect to Summon 1 Symphonic Warrior afterwards, and then make a Synchro with whatever else you have in the field to draw a card. Vote for Card A. Trebuchet MS
Card A Let's start by ignoring the fact that the creator has forgotten to make it an Effect Xyz Monster. For a Rank 2 with terrible stats and without any form of protection, this card pretty much demands a spectacular effect to make up for it. However, its detach effect only lets it attack directly for a turn, meaning that it'll only see its effect used once most of the time. But when it does hit, you get a Spirit Reaper-esque effect that doesn't trigger Dark Worlds or Fableds. Which would be nifty if this card had any form of staying power. Shaddolls still tend to sneer at this card's effects, but then again, they're also prone to sneering at nearly anything. So, kinda like Spirit Reaper, but a little underwhelming. Card B I don't think I'll need to cover this extensively - its problems have been highlighted well by the other members. Symphonic Warrior Hyper Librarian Jr. has the novelty of being a one-Material Xyz Summon. Normally we see such stunts if the required Material is another Xyz Monster. Chaos Xyz Change is no problem, but being able to use just one Main Deck monster is incredibly efficient. Not to mention she effectively floats since you detach what you've used to get another Tuner you desire. SWHL also lets you draw a card per Synchro Summon. Fortunately, the creator had the forethought of tacking on a OPT restriction to the draw, and a one-copy restriction to prevent her from effortlessly pulling out copies of herself. On her own, it's impossible to achieve a Synchro Summon with just a Tuner and an Xyz Monster, but any good Deck that has Tuners in it would have the means of putting out Synchro Material quickly to grab that draw. Verdict Ignoring the ability to Xyz Change into Downerd, Card A is terribly weak for its fragility unless you invest in protecting it. Card B's alt-Summon is too easy to achieve, turning into an effective free monster that grants you another step in advantage. I understand some daring things need to happen to put an archetype up to speed with the out-of-control power creep in the game, but not like this. Vote goes to Card A. Nathanael D. Striker
I'll take the lack of objections as a sign that there is no need to void. RickyKrilovs picks up a 3-0 upset win.
