Card Requirement

Create a playable R1 or R2 Xyz.

Card A

2 Level 1 DARK monsters
This card's name becomes "Skull Servant" while it is in the Graveyard. When this card is Xyz Summoned while you have a Level 3 or lower Zombie-Type monster in your Graveyard: You can send the top 5 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard. Then, destroy cards on the field, up to the number of Level 3 or lower monsters sent to the Graveyard this way. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card and target 1 card on the field; send 1 "Skull Servant" or "Wight" card from your Deck to the Graveyard, and if you do, destroy that target.

Card B

Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Excavate the top card of your Deck, and if the card is a WATER monster, add it to your hand, otherwise send it to the Graveyard. WATER monsters you control gain 300 ATK and DEF for each Xyz Material attached to "Fortress of the Ice Barrier"(s) you control.

Skull Reaper does too much and also has a big luck factor. Don't try to give an archetype a massive boost with one overpowered card.

On the other hand, Fortress of the Ice Barrier is pretty damn useless considering how Ice Barriers don't really use Level 2s, and it's pretty weak and not worth it anyway.

Vote to Fortress, though, because Reaper is badly designed.

Card A:

An obvious Skull Servant Deck support card, and an insane one: Buffs Skull King, can potentially destroy 5 cards with its on-Summon effect, and can further destroy more cards with its detach effect while setting Skull Servants/Wights up in the grave. Yeah, mass advantage everywhere.

Card B:

Starts with 2400 DEF upon its Summon, which is nice. The detach effect is weak though, because of the risk of milling without generating any advantage. Also, requiring WATERs as materials doesn't help as it makes it more difficult to play. I cannot think of any situation where this card would be a better choice than, let's say, Gachi or Armored Kappa, except when running a WATER monster mash deck, which is not a thing.

Vote for Card B, if only because Card A is ridiculous.
