You can target 1 face-up monster on the field, equip this card to that target, and if you do, take control of it. While equipped to a monster, its ATK and DEF become 0, it cannot be Tributed or used as Synchro, Xyz, or Fusion Material, and its name is treated as "Eater Armor - Souless Servant." While equipped to a "Eater Armor" monster, it gains the following effects:

●Once per turn, you can target 1 "Eater Armor" monster in the Banished Zone; Add that target to your hand. Your opponent takes all battle damage you would take from battles involving this card. This monster cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects; This effect can activate a number of times per turn equal to the number of "Eater Armor" cards you control.

There can be only 1 "Eater Armor - Sundered Shield" on the field at a time.

(Ozier I took from a screencap of a shield from a book describing early 1400s African military because NOBODY NAMES THEIR ARMOR and it's hardly called "Eater Armor" if there's only one piece of armor. Also I fixed my grammar from the first version to actually make sense as a card.)

If a Machine-Type "roid" monster, except a "Speedroid" monster, is targeted for an attack or card effect: You can Special Summon 1 "roid" monster of equal or lesser ATK to the targeted monster from your hand or Deck. Once per turn, during either player's turn, you can Fusion Summon 1 "roid" Fusion monster using monsters you control as Fusion Materials, and if you do: Draw 1 card. If a non-WIND "roid" monster attacks, you can atarget that monster and banish 1 "roid" monster from your Graveyard: Increase the target's ATK by the banished monster's ATK. If this card is destroyed, you can add 1 "roid" card from your Deck to your hand, except a "Speedroid" card.

 

Because even with this, Vehicroids are going nowhere except maybe Tier 5 rogue.
