Suijin of the Riptide

If your opponent declares a direct attack: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, the attacking monster loses 2500 ATK. Once per turn: if your opponent activates a card or effect that targets a "Sanga of Striking Thunder", "Kazejin of the Squall" or "Suijin of the Riptide" you control; you can negate the activation.

 

Can't think of a good name, but make a similarly styled Gate Guardian retrain. It has to be a Fusion Monster of "Sanga of Striking Thunder", "Kazejin of the Squall" or "Suijin of the Riptide" that can be summoned by tributing those three monsters (in a similar vein to Beast-Eyes Pendulum Dragon or Blue-Eyes Twin-Burst Dragon). It also should have some appropriate boss-esque effect, though I'll leave that up to you as to what that effect is.

Guardian of Heaven's Gate

DARK - Level 11 - Warrior/Fusion/Effect - 3750/3400

"Sanga of Striking Thunder" + "Kazejin of the Squall" + "Suijin of the Riptide"

Must be Fusion Summoned using the above Materials, and cannot be Summoned by other ways. You can also Special Summon this monster from your Extra Deck by Tributing the above monsters you control (This is treated as a Fusion Summon).Negate the effects of all monsters on the field with less ATK than this monster. The monster on the field with the highest ATK is unaffected by Trap Cards and their effects. Once per turn, you can banish 1 Level 7 monster from your Graveyard: This monster gains ATK equal to half the banished monster's ATK, it's name, and that monster's effect, until your opponent's next End Phase. Only 1 "Guardian of Heaven's Gate" can be in play (including in the Graveyard).

 

Heretic's Court (make it a Field Spell that straddles the line between situational anime card and stupid useful meta card)

Field Spell

When the turn player declares an attack, their opponent can draw 1 card and reveal it, then apply the following effects based on the card revealed:

~Monster: If you control a monster with a different Attribute, Special Summon the revealed monster from your hand. Its effects are negated and its ATK becomes 0.

~Spell: Discard that card and take 1000 damage. You can activate the effect of that Spell Card in your Graveyard during your next Main Phase.

~Trap: Any damage from this battle becomes 0, also Set that card. It can be activated this turn. Banish it at the end of the next turn's End Phase.

You can only activate the effect of "Heretic's Court" once per turn.

Don't know what you mean by movie-style retrain, but here's my idea:

 

Explosive Juggler

Machine-Type/FIRE
Level 4

When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can change its battle position.

● While in Attack Position: Once per turn: You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; it loses 1000 ATK.

● While in Defense Position: Once per turn: You can target up to 2 face-up monster your opponent controls with 1500 or less ATK; destroy them.

 

Cubic Interpretation (Trap Monster that can gain name and/or effects of other Cubic monsters in your Graveyard)

When your opponent activates the effect of a Spell/Trap card and you have two or more "Cubic" monsters in your graveyard: Send 1 "Cubic" card from your deck to the graveyard; negate the activation and banish the card. You can only activate this card during your opponent's turn while you control no other cards. Declare a monster name; excavate cards from the top of your Deck until you excavate a card with the name declared. Add that card to your Hand and banish the rest of the cards face-down. If you do not excavate a monster with the declared name, halve your LP.
