You can Special Summon this monster from your hand when a monster would be destroyed, during either player's turn. As long as this card is face-up on the field, all cards that would be destroyed or used as Material are banished instead. When this card leaves the field: Set 1 "Macro Cosmos" from your Deck or banish this card.

If you can Pendulum Summon Level 3, you can Pendulum Summon this card from your Extra Deck.

(1) Unaffected by the effects of DARK monsters.

(2) This card gains 300 ATK and DEF for each card your opponent controls.

(3) Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; both players shuffle their hands into the Deck, then draw the same amount of cards.

(4) If this card in the Monster Zone leaves the field (either by battle or card effect): You can place it in 1 of your empty Pendulum Zones, OR, destroy 1 card in your Pendulum Zone, and if you do, place this card in your Pendulum Zone.

If you can Pendulum Summon Level 9, you can Pendulum Summon this face-up card from your Extra Deck. You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a Rank 7 or 8 Dragon-Type Xyz Monster with 1 or less Xyz Material you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card). 

(1) Unaffected by your opponent's card effects. 

(2) When a Dragon-Type monster you control attacks or is targeted for an attack, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects until the end of the Damage Step.

(3) Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then declare Spell/Trap Cards or Monster Cards; banish all cards of the declared card type your opponent controls, then your opponent takes 500 damage for each card banished this way.

(4) If this card is destroyed while in a Monster Card Zone: You can place it in 1 of your empty Pendulum Zones.

When this card is Synchro Summoned, you gain 400 Life Points for every Tuner Monster in your Graveyard, and this card gains ATK equal to the Life Points gained, until your next Standby Phase. Once during either player's turn, whenever this card would be destroyed by an opponent's card: You can banish 1 Tuner monster in your Graveyard, and it is not destroyed.

When this monster is Synchro Summoned, you can Special Summon as many Dragon-Type Synchro monsters as possible from your Graveyard: The Level of all monsters Special Summoned this way becomes 1, and their original ATK and DEF becomes 0. Neither player can activate effects that require a payment of Life Points. If this face-up monster would be destroyed, you can banish 1 non-Dragon-Type Synchro monster from either player's Graveyard instead. This monster cannot be Synchro Material, except for the Summon of a Dragon-Type Synchro monster.

 

Closer to its purpose in its major appearance in 5D's, we now have something worth playing. And, if for whatever reason you do ladder thus from Power Tool, it can still save this guy by being banished. Ta-da!

FIRE - Level 7 - Dragon/Synchro/Effect - 2400/1800

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

When this monster is Synchro Summoned successfully, you can destroy all other cards on the field. Once per turn, you can banish 1 Plant-Type monster from your Graveyard: change all monsters your opponent controls to face-up Attack Position, and if you do, their ATK is treated as half their original ATK.

When this card is Synchro Summoned, Special Summon 1 level 8 or lower Psychic-type or "Archfiend" Synchro monster from your Extra Deck (This Special Summon is treated as a Synchro Summon). When a Synchro monster you control destroys a monster by battle, gain LP equal to the destroyed monster's ATK and DEF. During either player's turn, when your opponent activates a card effect and controls less Psychic-type monsters then you, you can pay 1500 LP: Negate that effect and destroy the card. You can only use this effect of "Unquestionable Psychic Archfiend" twice per turn.
