Astro Dude
While I was banned I got Megaman Battle Network and Megaman Battle Chip Challenge on Wii U Virtual Console. I'm planning on getting Mega Man X3 today. It's great to relive these games. There is one problem Nintendo and Capcom never took into account: The connection functionality. Since these games were made before Wireless technology came into play, if you try trade and battle with friends, all you'll get is an error message. This is the only flaw I can think of. If anyone downloaded these games, let me know what you thought of them.
Tentacruel
Woah woah woah, they have those on VC? I need to get me dat. Also, the connection functionality is the reason we don't see Pokemon on VC.
Greiga
They put the worst BN game on VC. You know if they do end up putting DS games on VC then that's our chance to see OSS translated though, since they put SD3 on Wii VC. I think they could get around connection problems since they managed to make Super C and some other 3DS VC games wireless.
Shradow
I've played the entire Battle Network series, including things like Battle Chip Callenge and Network Transmission. My favorite Mega Man series, I cried when I beat 6 and get nailed by a wave of nostalgia every time I hear the main theme. However, since I already own the games and have played them to satisfactory exhaustion, I won't be getting these. Hopefully they eventually release the whole series on VC for everyone to enjoy. Nicο
I have only owened and finished 5 and 6, so I can see how much of a step back this is to go all the way back and how many kinks they have to work out. Also, how 1 is basically just the introduction. I got the first 1 and might get more games when I'm finished but the main thing is, I hope all of the BN series gets released as well. I imagine the multiplayer functions are similar to Star Force and I can say it wasn't very fun, for whatever reason. The trading might be helpful but I can deal without since I didn't have a link cable throughout the GBA's whole lifespan.
Greiga
MMBN battles look way more fun than SF battles mostly because you have a bigger field and more imaginative chip combos and can't just Tribe King/Gemini Wolf/Black Ace to victory. Also trading from what I know is only most useful in 3 and 4.
Nicο
That wasn't the problem. I just found battling another mega man less fun than any other battles, tbh.

Agro
1 and 2 are the only BN games I don't own so I'll likely pick them up at some point.
Astro Dude
Awesome. But it's probably a nightmare getting those Navi2 and Navi3 chips. Let me know how it turns out.
