Among the changes...

Rukia is redrawn to look like a Barbie doll, and is reduced to being in a forced, Twilight-inspired relationship with Ichigo...because she's a girl.

Rangiku has casual sex with random male characters...because she's a girl with boobs.

Orihime does...something.

Uryu becomes a James Bond secret agent after the world learns he's a Quincy...because.

Aizen takes over the Soul Society after saving it from the aforementioned crisis...because.

Ichigo is now an orphan...because angst.

Ichigo's sisters no longer exist...because.

Chad does something...who's Chad again? Also, Chad is getting whitewashed...because.

Ichigo defeats Grand Fisher, then starts to have Jekyll-Hyde episodes where he mutates into "IchiFisher"...because.

The next 10 years of publication will be dedicated to explaining (and, I emphasize 'explaining') everything that's changed with the reboot.

Then, we'll get back to the "The Thousand-Year Blood War" (if this can even be considered a war) where a Shinigami who isn't Ichigo defeats the Sternjagwagrtietert-whatever responsible for this crisis, then moves onto the next Sternshaggawaggahthyttrso that no one cares about.

This part of Bleach's final arc is estimated to conclude around the year that Time Force will be established.

In a related story, One Piece is getting a short manga called "The Straw Hat Returns" where a 55-year old Luffy comes out of retirement to do pirate stuff, then fights Zorro in a rushed finale. Fans expect this to be the manga "where Luffy gets his balls back."
