Maybe I'll get entered, too, that's really your decision. We're simplifying everything this time around. There won't be an ungodly number of members entered and we won't be implementing some overcomplicated "teams" system or an ungodly amount of entrants to the battle. There will be only 32 entrants, and they will compete in the most respected and timely of tournament formats: the world cup. But who will compete and who will win is not entirely about being good at athletics... god forbid. It will be determined by grit and determination. By cunning, and intellect. By good looks and talent in the bedroom. By good hygiene and good eating habits. I'm kidding it's not about any of that stupid s***. Everyone knows this is really a popularity contest. Good luck, have fun. [spoiler="Nomination Process"]1. Every member gets to nominate 5 other members by posting ALL NOMINATIONS AT ONCE in the format shown further down in the post.2. You cannot nominate a member more than once3. You cannot nominate yourself4. Banned members cannot be nominated. 5. If any of your nominations break rules 2, 3, or 4, all of your nominations will be ignored until the issue is corrected6. All nominations are final.7. Mods cannot be nominated. If you nominate a mod, it will not be counted, but the rest of your nominations will be 8. At the end of the Nomination Process, the 32 most nominated members will be entered into the brawl. 9. If there is a tie that would put the number of members in the fray over 32, there will be a play-in game to narrow down the members to exactly 32. 10. Nomination process ends at 5pm GMT on Wednesday, August 20. After every member has squared off against each member in their pool, the top 2 members from the pool will move on to the round of elimination. - Round Robin Scoring: A win is 3 points, tie is 1 point, loss is 0 points. First tiebreaker is vote differential. Second Tiebreaker is total votes for. Third is total votes against. Fourth is most initial nominations. Fifth is a coin flip. Round of Elimination: 16 member tournament from those who escaped the Round Robin. Single elimination. No holds barred. May the most popular best member win. Exact deadlines and dates for the Round Robin and Round of Elimination will be decided after the end of the nomination process.
