Simping For Hina
4 Burning-Tree Emissary 4 Cloudfin Raptor 4 Elvish Mystic 2 Quickling 4 Genesis Hydra 4 Illusory Angel 4 Ornithopter 2 Sylvan Caryatid 1 Voyaging Satyr 4 Springleaf Drum 4 Ensoul Artifact 3 Shrapnel Blast 2 Aggressive Mining 1 Darksteel Ingot 4 Breeding Pool 4 Stromping Ground 1 Steam Vents 2 Darksteel Citadel 4 Mana Confluence 2 Yavimaya Coast So this is the deck I took to Game Day on Sunday at my LGS. I went 2-3, but I think I might try to keep this deck come rotation since I had more fun than anything with it. Seth Manfield had a basic idea of the deck that i didn't really change except for four cards.
CLG Klavier
You posting a non-Modern deck? Shame on you. Anyways, basic stuff about it? I can figure out some, but rest looks slightly messy so I gotta be missing something.
Simping For Hina
Play spells. Ensoul Artifact and Shrapnel Blast clear out a game quickly, along with cheaper cards for a turn 2 Illusory Angel. Enough mana producers to get around Aggressive Mining to keep up the card draw without lack of losing speed. This is meant to be an aggressive deck that doesn't lose speed and is faster than GW Aggro or decks. Doesn't falter to a Thoughtseize easily when I can fill my hand easily. Springleaf, Ornithopter, Darksteel and Ornithopter make for enough artifact fodder for 7 artifact reliant spells. Faerie Impostor makes Burning-Tree better, and makes better use of an early Genesis Hydra late game. It also has great synergy with Ornithopter. .Rai
Quickling just seems better than Faerie Imposter anyway. You're never casting Faerie Imposter turn 1 anyway, so you might as well play the one that has flash. And, there is basically no reason not to play 4 Mana Confluence. It's a hyper-aggressive deck that wants tons of colour turn 2.
