[spoiler=Chapter 1 Cards]

KIRIM:

Aslak the Powerful

Earth/Warrior/4/1700/500

When this card destroys an opponent's monster as a result of battle, increase its ATK and DEF by 200.

 

Unrelenting Bog

Earth/Aqua/4/2000/0

When this card attacks a Defense Position monster, that monster is destroyed automatically without applying Battle Damage. After each time this card attacks, decrease your Life Points by 1000.

 

Anubis Hammer

Normal Spell Card

Select 1 monster. The selected monster's ATK becomes 0 until the End Phase of the turn this card is activated.

 

Pass of Haley

Normal Trap Card

Destroy 1 monster on your side of the field. Inflict 1200 damage to your opponent's Life Points.

 

Soul Crush

Normal Trap Card

Activate only while there are 2 or more cards on the field. Change the Battle Positon of all monsters on your opponent's side of the field to face-up Defense Position.

 

KAIN:

The Architect

Light/Warrior/4/1400/1000

When this card is Normal Summoned, you may force the activate a face-down Spell or Trap Card on your opponent's side of the field. If the timing is incorrect, destroy that card and this card gains 500 ATK until the End Phase of the turn this effect was activated.

 

Unsettled Alchemist

Light/Spellcaster/3/900/1500

Destroy all monsters on your side of the field. Then, Special Summon a monster from your Deck with an ATK equal to or up to 500 less ATK than the combined ATK of the monsters you destroyed with this effect.

 

Bribe of Defiance

Normal Spell Card

Gain control of a face-up monster on your opponent's side of the field. This monster cannot be tributed, or declare an attack. During each of your End Phases while that monster is face-up on your side of the field, you lose 1000 Life Points.

 

Earthrealm Temple

Normal Trap Card

Select and activate 1 of the following effects:

- Activate only when a face-up “The Arcitect” is face-up on your side of the field is targeted by a card effect. Negate that card effect, and change the Battle Position of “The Architect”, then increase that monster’s ATK and DEF by 500.

[spoiler=Chapter Two Cards]

KAIN:

 

Rullsnaptn

Light/Psychic/3/1000/1000

When this card is destroyed by the effect of a Spell or Trap Card controlled by your opponent, you may add 1 monster with 1000 DEF or less from your Deck to your hand.

 

The Fortune Teller

Light/Spellcaster/4/1400/1000

When this card is Normal Summoned, you may Special Summon 1 level 3 monster from your hand. That monster gains 500 ATK, but is destroyed during the End Phase of the turn it was summoned.

 

Bulder Head

Earth/Warrior/3/1500/0

When this card destroys an opponent’s monster as a result of battle (even if it was destroyed during the same battle), inflict 200 damage to both players.

 

Caustic Chemistry

Continuous Spell Card

This card is not destroyed by the effects of Normal Spell Cards. During each of your Standby Phases you may discard a Spell Card from your hand to add 1 Level 3 or lower Monster from your Deck to your hand.

 

Icy Glare

Normal Spell Card

Select 1 face-up monster on your side of the field, and 1 face-up monster on your opponent’s side of the field. Those monsters cannot attack during the next Battle Phase of the controller’s turn.

 

Masked Knight

Dark/Warrior/3/1200/1600

When this card attacks a face-down monster, you may return a Spell or Trap Card from your Graveyard to your Deck after applying Battle Damage. After this card has attacked, it is automatically changed to Defense Position.

 

Warrior Shaman Breaker

Light/Spellcaster/4/1600/1000

Discard a Spell Card from your hand. Add 1 Warrior-Type monster from your Graveyard to your hand. This effect can only be activated once while this card is face-up on the field

 

Belgara the Nega Dragon

Divine/Dragon/10/3000/3000

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. You may Special Summon this card from your hand by paying 1500 Life Points while you control no monsters. By removing from play all cards in your Graveyard, destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on the field. This card is destroyed by Spell and Trap Cards, or by the effects of Effect Monster with 2000 ATK or less.

 

Summer Sky

Normal Spell Card

Draw cards from your Deck until there are as many as 6 cards in your hand. You cannot draw more than 3 cards with this effect. Your opponent draws 2 cards. All Damage you inflict during this turn is halved.

 

Ominous Cloud

Quick-Play

Both players discard a card at random from their hand. In addition, a player with 8 or more cards in their hand must return an additional card from their hand to their Deck and shuffle it.

 

Magician’s Contract

Continuous Spell Card

Once per turn, the controller of this card may return a face-up Spellcaster-Type monster to their Deck, then Special Summon a Warrior-Type monster of a lower Level to their side of the field. The Deck is then shuffled.

 

Warrior’s Rage!

Normal Spell Card

You cannot Normal Summon a monster the turn this card is activated. Destroy 1 monster on the field, then Special Summon a level 3 or lower Warrior-Type monster from your hand in face-up Attack Position.

 

Purple Potion

Equip Spell Card

Equip only to a Warrior or Spellcaster-Type monster. Roll a six-sided die when this card is activated, and its effect becomes of the following to the corresponding roll:

1-2: Increase the ATK of the equipped monster by 300. When the equipped monster destroys an opponent’s monster as a result of battle, inflict 500 damage to both players.

3-4: Increase the ATK of the equipped monster by 2000. Halve all Battle Damage the equipped monster inflicts to your opponent’s Life Points, and destroy the equipped monster during the next End Phase of the controller of the monster’s turn.

5-6: Destroy the equipped monster and Special Summon 1 level 4 or lower Spellcaster-Type monster from your Deck in the position and zone that the destroyed monster was in.

 

 

 

ULFUR:

Desert Gator

Earth/Reptile/4/2000/0

This card cannot be Normal Summoned. When this face-down card is selected as an attack target, you may discard a card from your hand to change this card to face-up Attack Position.

 

Desert Trials

Quick-Play Spell

Destroy all face-up monsters on your side of the field and another card on the field.

 

Sandstorm Mantis

Wind/Insect/4/1400/1600

Once per turn, you may destroy 1 face-up Spell or Trap Card on your side of the field to destroy a face-up card on your opponent’s side of the field.

 

Sand Mummy

Earth/Rock/4/1800/400

This card inflicts piercing damage. When this card is destroyed as a result of battle, decrease your Life Points by 800.

 

Sand Dune

Continuous Spell Card

Decrease the ATK and DEF of all non-WIND and EARTH monsters on the field by 400. When this card is destroyed, inflict 500 damage to your opponent’s Life Points.

 

Great Thirst

Quick-Play Spell

Decrease the ATK and DEF of a monster on the field by its level x100, then inflict damage to both players equal to the amount the selected monster’s ATK and DEF was decreased by.

 

Double Soul Bind

Normal Trap Card

Activate only while there are is a monster on both player’s fields in the same column as this card. Destroy all monsters in this card’s column.

 

Drought

Counter Trap Card

Activate only at the beginning of Main Phase 1. Pay 1000 Life Points. Destroy up to 2 face-down Spell or Trap Cards on the field and the ATK and DEF of all non-EARTH and WIND monsters on the field are decreased by 500.

 

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter III Cards]

KOLPUS:

Sunflower Dragon

Earth/Plant/5/2000/2000

Once per turn, you may discard a card from your hand to destroy 1 face-up monster on the field.

 

Fertile Meadow

Field Spell Card

Increase the ATK and DEF of all Insect and Plant-Type monsters on your side of the field by 100. In addition, if you control no monsters on your side of the field during your Standby Phase, you may pay Life Points equal to half the ATK of a level 6 or lower Plant-Type monster in your Deck and Special Summon that monster in face-up Attack Position.

 

Extreme Overgrowth

Normal Trap Card

Negate the first attack of your opponent’s Battle Phase. Then, Special Summon 1 “Overgrown Token” (Earth/Plant/1/0/?) with DEF equal to the ATK of the monster whose attack was negated.

 

Poison Thornbush

Continuous Trap Card

Each time you take Battle Damage while you control 1 or less monsters, you may pay 1000 Life Points to Special Summon 1 Level 7 or lower Insect-Type monster from your Deck. You cannot Normal Summon or Special Summon any other monsters during this turn.

 

 

 

KAIN:

Omega Mage

Light/Spellcaster/3/900/1400

When this card is returned from your Graveyard to your hand, you may add 1 Normal Spell Card from your Graveyard to your hand. This card cannot be Normal Summoned during the turn this effect is activated.

 

Zealot Soldier

Dark/Warrior/4/1600/1500

Tribute 1 monster. Increase this card’s ATK by 500 until the End Phase of the turn this effect was activated. In addition, if the tributed monster was level 3 or lower, you gain 500 Life Points.

 

Virtue Paladin

Light/Warrior/3/1000/1000

When Tributing this card for a level 8 or higher monster, this card can be counted as 2 tributes.

 

Dimension Cyclone

Normal Spell Card

Add 1 Normal Spell Card with no activation cost from your Deck to your hand. That card must be activated during the turn this card was activated, and you may not activate any other Spell Cards or Spell Card effects until the End Phase of this turn.

 

Duo Brigade

Normal Spell Card

During this turn, if you Normal Summon a Warrior or Spellcaster-Type monster, you may Special Summon another, Level 4 or lower Warrior or Spellcaster-Type monster from your hand. You cannot Special Summon any other monsters during this turn.

 

Blue Dragon Blast

Normal Spell Card

Activate only while you control a face-up Warrior or Spellcaster-Type monster. Destroy the monster on your opponent’s side of the field with the highest Level. If there is a tie, you choose.

 

Melding Pot

Continuous Spell Card

Once, during each player’s turn, the turn player may select and activate 1 of the following effects:

- Discard 1 Spell Card from your hand. Add Level 4 or lower monster from your Graveyard to your hand.

- Discard 1 level 4 or higher monster. Destroy 1 face-up monster on your opponent’s side of the field.

 

Reparation

Normal Trap Card

Activate only when you take damage 1000 points of damage or more due to battle. Your opponent selects and activates 1 of the following effects:

- Your opponent discards 1 card from their hand and you gain 500 Life Points.

- Draw 1 card and inflict 500 damage to your opponent’s Life Points.

 

 

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter V Cards]

SAM:

 

Neo-Phoenix Yellow

Fire/Machine/3/1100/1500

When this card is Special Summoned, increase it’s ATK and DEF by 500.

 

Neo-Phoenix Blue

Fire/Machine/4/1500/1700

When this face-down card is flipped face-up as a result of an attack and is not destroyed as a result of battle, you may Tribute this card to draw 1 card from your Deck.

 

Neo-Phoenix Black

Fire/Machine/4/1800/500

When this card is Special Summoned from the Graveyard, you may pay 500 Life Points to destroy 1 face-down card on the field.

 

Metal Slug

Quick-Play Spell

This card cannot be activated from the hand. Send the top card of your Deck to the Graveyard. Then, if the card sent to the Graveyard by this effect was a Machine-Type monster, inflict 600 damage to your opponent’s Life Points.

 

Burning Transcendence

Normal Trap Card

Tribute 1 “Phoenix” monster. Draw 2 cards.

 

Phoenix Capsule 3

Continuous Trap Card

Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower “Phoenix” monster in your Deck. During each of your Standby Phases, pay 600 Life Points to keep this card on the field. When the Summoned card is remove from the field, destroy this card. When this card is removed from the field, destroy the Summoned card.

 

 

 

KAIN:

 

Spell Swordsman - Teal

Earth/Warrior/4/1500/1600

When this card declares an attack, you may send 1 Spell Card from your hand or Deck to the Graveyard. If you do, increase this card’s ATK by 300. When this card’s effect has been activated 3 times, Tribute it, then Special Summon 1 Warrior or Spellcaster-Type monster from your hand. A monster summoned by this effect cannot attack this turn.

 

Requiem Trickster

Dark/Spellcaster/3/1000/1000

When this card is destroyed, during your next Standby Phases you may remove from play this card and a Spell Card in your Graveyard to Special Summon 1 level 3 or lower Spellcaster-Type monster from your Deck.

 

Mage Breaker

Light/Spellcaster/3/800/1500

Once while this card is face-up on the field, you may select 1 Spell Card in a player’s Graveyard and remove it from play. If the selected Spell Card had no costs, you may activate that Spell Card as if it were this card’s effect.

 

Old Silken Hat

Normal Spell Card

Increase the ATK and DEF of a face-up Warrior or Spellcaster-Type monster on your side of the field by 300. When this card in your Graveyard is removed from play by a non-Continuous effect, you may select 1 monster on both player’s fields and change control of those monsters until the End Phase of the turn this effect was activated.

 

Heart Talisman

Quick-Play Spell

Activate only when a monster is Summoned. Pay Life Points equal to the Level of that monster x200 and send that monster to the Graveyard.

 

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter six]

Puppet #1:

 

Black Puppeteer

Dark/Spellcaster/4/500/1500

While this card is in Defense Position, you may Normal Summon “Puppet” and “Puppeteer” monsters with 1 less Tribute.

 

Puppet-Maker Puppeteer

Light/Warrior/6/2400/1000

During each of your Draw Phases, you may add 1 “Puppet” monster from your Deck to your hand instead of drawing normally. If that monster is Normal Summoned this turn, increase this card’s ATK by 400.

 

Fiend’s Puppet

Dark/Plant/5/2400/0

When this card destroys a monster as a result of battle, your opponent must discard a card from their hand.

 

Puppet Strings

Equip Spell Card

Change the equipped monster to Defense Position. Increase the DEF of the equipped monster by 500. When the equipped monster is destroyed as a card effect, its controller may Special Summon 1 monster in their opponent’s Graveyard in face-up Defense Position. That monster’s ATK and DEF become 0.

 

Work Exhaustion

Continuous Trap Card

When this card is activated, all face-up monsters on your side of the field with 1500 ATK or less are changed to Defense Position. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, those monsters cannot change their Battle Position.

 

Act 1

Normal Spell Card

Active only by removing from play 2 “Puppet” or “Puppeteer” monsters in your Graveyard OR while a player has “First Curtain” in their Graveyard. Special Summon 1 “Puppet” monster from your hand or Deck. If from the Deck, you cannot attack with any other monsters this turn.

 

 

Puppet #2:

 

Puppet Guardian

Earth/Plant/4/1500/1500

When your opponent declares an attack on a face-up “Puppet” or “Puppeteer” monster, you may Tribute this card to negate the attack.

 

Puppet Musketeer

Earth/Plant/4/1700/1000

This card is unaffected by Trap Cards while it is attacking.

 

Puppet Hands

Earth/Warrior/4/1000/1000

When this card or another EARTH monster on your side of the field is selected as an attack target, you may destroy 1 face-up monster on your side of the field. You take no Battle Damage during that battle, and the attacking monster is destroyed after Battle Damage.

 

Carving Magic

Normal Spell Card

Remove from play 1 “Puppet” monster in your Graveyard. Special Summon 1 “Puppet” monster from your Deck with an equal Level. You cannot Normal Summon this turn.

 

First Curtain

Normal Spell Card

Your opponent selects 1 monster in their Deck, and you Special Summon that monster in face-up Attack Position on your side of the field.

 

Act 2

Quick-Play Spell

Activate only while “First Curtain” and “Act 1" are in a player’s Graveyard, OR by removing from play 4 “Puppet” or “Puppeteer” monsters in your Graveyard. Special Summon as many “Puppet Token”s (Earth/Plant/3/500/500) in Defense Position as possible on either player’s field.

 

Soul Puppet

Normal Spell Card

Pay half of your Life Points...???

 

Ulfur:

 

Desert Cobra

Earth/Reptile/3/1400/0

When this Defense Position card is destroyed as a result of battle, destroy the monster that it battled with.

 

Dune Survivalist

Wind/Warrior/4/1400/1650

When this card is Normal Summoned, you may add 1 “Desert” or “Dune” Continuous Spell Card from your Deck to your hand.

 

Sand Owl

Wind/Winged-Beast/2/500/500

You may choose the Battle Position of a monster this card attacks. When this card is sent to the Graveyard by a card effect you control, draw 1 card.

 

Desert Mirage

Continuous Spell Card

While this card is face-up on the field, your opponent cannot activate Trap Cards during the Battle Phase. When you inflict Battle Damage to your opponent’s Life Points by attacking directly, add 1 EARTH monster from your Deck with 0 DEF to your hand. This card is then destroyed.

 

Whipping Sands

Normal Spell Card

Destroy the face-up monster with the lowest ATK on the field (if there’s a tie, you choose). Then, if the controller of the destroyed monster controls no monsters, they may set 1 Spell or Trap Card from their hand.

 

 

Kain:

 

Holy Knight - Izaeil

Light/Warrior/4/1800/800

When this card inflicts Battle Damage to a player’s Life Points, increase your Life Points by 300. If this card is destroyed as a result of battle, you may add 1 Level 3 or lower Warrior-Type monster from your Graveyard to your hand.

 

The Eccentric

Earth/Warrior/3/1000/1000

When this card is targeted by a card effect, you may discard 1 Trap Card to negate this card’s destruction. When this card would be destroyed as a result of battle, you may discard 1 Spell Card and it is not. Each time this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent’s Life Points, increase this card’s ATK or DEF by 200.

 

Aether’s Magician

Earth/Spellcaster/3/1100/1100

While in the Graveyard, this card is also treated as DARK and LIGHT. When this card inflicts Battle Damage to a player’s Life Points, you may activate this effect: * Both players draw 1 card. If the drawn card was a Spell Card, that player may send it to the Graveyard or remove that card from play.

 

Albdruck of the Forgotten Magic

Dark/Spellcaster/6/2400/1400

This card can be Special Summoned by removing from play 3 Spell Cards in your Graveyard. By removing from play 1 LIGHT and 1 DARK monster in your Graveyard, this card is unaffected by Spell Cards until the End Phase of this turn. During your Standby Phase, you may remove from play 1 Spell Card in your Graveyard.

 

Into the Fray

Normal Spell Card

Select and activate 1 of the following effects:

- Tribute 1 Warrior-Type monster on your side of the field. Special Summon 1 level 4 or lower Spellcaster-Type monster from your Deck.

- Tribute 1 Spellcaster-Type monster on your side of the field. Special Summon 1 level 4 or lower Warrior-Type monster from your Deck.

 

Peaceful Lashing

Quick-Play Spell

Only activate when a monster declares an attack. Return the attacking monster to the owner’s hand.

 

Wren’s Enchantment

Normal Spell Card

Increase the ATK and DEF of 1 monster on the field by 500. When this card in your Graveyard is removed from play, draw 1 card.

 

Black Potion

Normal Spell Card

Decrease the ATK and DEF of 1 monster on the field by 500. When this card in your Graveyard is removed from play, destroy 1 monster on the field

 

 

 

 

"God"-like Cards:

 

Brimir the Unholy Giant

Divine/Warrior/10/2500/3000

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned from the hand except by tributing 3 Effect Monsters. This card is unaffected by Normal Spell and Trap Cards, and cannot be destroyed by the effects of monsters with 2000 ATK or less. Once per turn, you may tribute a face-up monster on your side of the field to increase this card's ATK by the tributed monster's ATK. During the turn this effect is used, this card may attack all Defense Positon monsters on your opponent's side of the field once each.

 

Belgara the Nega Dragon

Divine/Dragon/10/3000/3000

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned from the hand except by paying 3000 Life Points while you control no monsters. By removing from play all cards in your Graveyard, destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on the field. This card is not destroyed by Spell and Trap Cards, or by the effects of Effect Monster with 2000 ATK or less.

 

Chimera Vespa

Divine/Insect/10/2500/2500

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned from the hand except by discarding 4 cards from your hand. This card is unaffected by Normal Spell and Trap Cards, and cannot be destroyed by the effects of monsters with 2000 ATK or less. When this card is Summoned, you may equip 1 monster in your Graveyard to this card as an Equip Spell Card. While equipped with that card, this card gains 300 ATK and the effect of the equipped monster.

i love the idea of the desert survival deck.the next time ulfur battles' date=' give him a something like a desert cobra. and if ulfur is kains friend why did he try to kill him?

I planned on doing something like that in the chapter I'm writing (though very slowly). And Ulfur only said that so that Kain would fight to his full potential, and if Kain couldn't beat him then it would also prove something yet to be revealed in the storyline.
