Rules:

All YCM rules + leaderboard rules apply.

Submit card within 3 days of requesting challenge, otherwise I reserve my right to choose a new opponent.

First to 3 votes wins, votes must have some logical reasoning behind them, which is expressed (Voters will get a rep each assuming that condition is satisfied).

If 3 votes aren't achieved, whoever has the most 7 days after starting, or if a tie sudden death will commence.

Requirements:

Make a new Spell, Trap or Monster card for one of the following archetypes:

- X-Sabers

- Gustos

- Wind-Ups

Say which one you choose, I will then submit a card for the same archetype.

Choice: X-Sabers

Cards:

Descendant of Gusto:

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "X-Saber" monsters
When this card is Synchro Summoned; destroy all face-up monsters your opponent controls with less ATK than this card, then, if your opponent activates any further card effects during the Main Phase this card is Synchro Summoned; draw 1 card for each.

Hellspawn Sage:

As long as this card remains face up on the field, Beast-Warrior and Warrior type monsters gain 300 ATK and DEF. Once per turn, when an "X-Saber" monster destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the graveyard, you can special summon 1 Level 4 or lower "X-Saber" monster from your deck or graveyard except "X-Saber Howlin' Warwolf". That monster cannot attack this turn. During the end phase of every turn you use this effect, you must pay 1000 life points, or destroy both this card and the card that was summoned.

I vote for card b

although card A is a level 8 synchro's that isn't always going to be your first choice in x-sabers, but when you do use it you can clear your opponents field and it's a +1 or more (although somewhat conditional). that is really all you can say on this

as for card B. at first glance I thought that it was over powered; letting you special summon a level 4 or below from your deck and it's cost is an after thought considering you'll properly just synchro the two, all the while giving your monsters a 300 boost. that was until I noticed it was a level 5, and there is no easy way to special summon it and then the card started making sense, these effects are perfectly justified on a level 5 that more often that not you will have to tribute summon.

but that is just my opinion.
