Deucalion
Coincidence. In fact, the Arkana in the anime is only named Arkana in the English anime - everywhere else, he is called "Pandora". My Arkana does share a certain characteristic with the anime Arcana, notably their signature card. This is again, coincidence. In fact, my Arkana was originally going to be called Arcana, not ArKana at all, until I remembered the Arcana Force set, which I didn't want my Arkana to be associated with, seeing as his signature card is le Magicien Sombre. ^_^
Umbra
Thanks. That means a lot. BTW' date=' I'm building Pica's deck currently, but I'm having trouble finding specific cards. Obviously, some will be fan-made, but I do want a few real cards. However, it is really hard to narrow them down. Isthere a card search function, that lets you say, search for all monsters that are Dark Attributed Winged Beasts? Or Water Atributed Aquas? Otherwise it would be quite hard for me finding the right card.[/quote']If you're still looking for this (I don't know if you are) then, I found exactly what you need. DMU. A game on the byond system, which has a complete and easily accessable database of most cards existing today.
Deucalion
Ah, that'll be very useful! Thanks. I just realised the creepiest thing today. One of the cards I made for this fanfic was called Herald of the Orange Light. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Herald_of_Orange_Light Released a week after I made up that card. Now look at my fanfic one, and the real one. They are exactly the same, apart from theirs is a Tuner. Now, I know that is because they are all part of the Herald of Light set, so they were bound to be similar, but even so. That is so damn similar it is creepy. Wierd coincidence, or what? I think Konami is stalking me. O_O
Aelsthla-Mental
Weird coincidence i must say. Yes everyone pretty much knew it would come out eventually, but only a week after you made it up? That is creepy. Can't believe they made it a tuner though, it stuffs it up even more then calling the trap negator Purple (yes purple and pink are close, and if i recall the traps are violet, but it's still strange...) Honestly, that will probably be little-used as a tuner, it's effect in no way helps tuning. It might possibly be used along with the other heralds to stop OTKs (very circumstantial) but that's about it. ...I've babbled to much off the topic of this thread, the fanfic. My apologies. So they share the Dark Magician? Bwahaha, of course, the rest of his deck is probably completely different.
bury the year
Quick question; when can we expect the next chapter?
Deucalion
Well, I'm building decks mostly right now, as well as storyboarding. You may have noticed that the Hyper City doesn't feature much so far in the RP, for being the title of the book, but that is because this will be 3 books, each of about 40 chapters. Book 1 will be set almost entirely on the Sable Patrician's estate. In Book 2, everything will get far more dystopian is certain characters will be forced to flee in a massive game of hide and seek throughout a corrupt and malicious city. But anyway. Book 1 will be about 40 chapters, most of which I have storyboarded anyway. When I've finished Deck-Building, and finished deciding where I want to drop plot hints (Book 1 has it's plot planned out, but I'll leave occasional hints at what is to come later on through-out Book 1.), you'll get the next Chapter. I have 3 more decks build, and maybe 5 Chapters to storyboard a bit more, so I'd guess at between half a week to a week, depending on what is happening in my life. Book 1 is really just build-up. You haven't even met half of the interesting characters yet, and while I have an amazing finale planned for Book 1, the real action doesn't get started till Book 2. Book 3 will be the showdown Book, where all the events come to a head, and everything is explained, etc. EDIT: Book 2 will also deal with far darker themes, such as violence (not graphic), the problems with morality and evil, the state of humanity, rape (not graphic), and the relationship between genius and insanity. Although, I will stress for any mods reading, there will be no graphic stuff. It will merely involve the aforementioned issues. I like to think of Book 2 as my "the Dark Knight" compared to Book 1's "Batman Begins". This is still 30 chapters away, but then, you can't have a deep and complicated plot w/out lots of planning.
