I figured going generic would be boring that's why I chose level 10 for the Kings. I'll get into fixing the Kings by bumping them down to Level 8 along with the Bishops. What/who was the last part of that pointed to? The part regarding the advance clause.

If we're going to stay true to the nature of chess, wouldn't it be better to make the knight and pawns < lvl 5 monsters, and the rest above lvl 4? it fits with the fact that only pawns and knights may move on the first turn of each player, thus not needing a tribute.

 

Edit: Actually white is the more offensive side and black is the more defensive side in chess, but oh well.

Any specific details on the cards themselves, rather than a generic comparison of the cards here and their correlation to the actual game?

Granted, it would make sense flavor-wise, but comment on the cards seen before you [do they need to be toned down in effects? buffed? etc.]

 

Please note that while you are a new member to YCM (by post count), you are bound by the Advanced Clause that runs throughout Custom Cards.

 

@dizzyshot: Granted, Rank 10 monsters are somewhat rare nowadays outside of Dreadnought Cannon, Robot Destroyer, Hope Dragun, C9 and some other stuff; but they have better stats/effects to offset that. Moving them to Rank/Level 8 is better suited for their effects/stats.

 

As for the AC part, that's directed at other members commenting in this thread. The first time you post here, you must abide by the Advanced Clause and comment on the cards that are already here [a general overview or picking out specifics is fine]; this is to make sure the thread creator gets proper comments on their cards so they can use them for improvement if needed.
