Six Sam Deck Help

So I am an amateur deck-builder xD and I need help with this deck.. It needs a lot of improvement but with some help I bet it'll manage. I want it to bring out Great Shogun Shien as fast as possible. When testing this deck I noticed I am defeated quickly when a stronger monster is summoned which is a bummer xD. But here is the list (I'm not too familiar with Xyz so I don't know what to use)

First of all, you're relying too much on one card, and Shogun isn't even all that good in Six Sams.  Most good 6Sams tend not to run Shogun at all.  Sams tend to swarm, that is, fill the field with 3-5 monsters a turn, preferably Shi En and a couple more Synchro and/or Xyz.  You can do this fairly consistently if you get the right setup, but you're not running a few cards which are a MUST in 6-Sams:

 

For monsters to run, I'd drop 2 Shogun, all Shinia and Miziho, and a Irou.  Monsters to add: 

 

1-2 Zanji: Yeah, it's a just a beatsick, but it is a target for Asceticism of the Six Samurai, along with Kizan.  I'll discuss Asceticism later.  

 

2-3 Elder of the Six Samurai: A Cyber Dragon-type card for Six-Sams.  Also an Asceticism target.  See a theme here?

 

1-2 Legendary Six Samurai Enishi:  Card is nice for bouncing back your opponent's monsters.

 

Now we'll talk about Spells: Outside of Smoke Signal, drop all of your spells.  Add another Smoke Signal.  For other Spells to run: 

 

3 Six Samurai United: You can easily summon 2 Sams and draw 2 cards from this.  And if you can activate more than one on the same turn, you can summon 2 Sams and get 4+ cards from the draws.  Always run 3.

 

2 Reinforcement of the Army: With the July 13 Ban List now in effect, RotA is now Semi-Limited, which means you can run 2.  And since the deck is mostly Level 4 or lower warriors...WHY ARE YOU NOT RUNNING THIS??? FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WHY????  Sorry, just had to get that off my chest.

 

3 Asceticism of the Six Samurai:  This is a good way to get out Kagemusha/Elder when Elder/Kagemuhsa is on the field.  It's a quickplay, which means you can use it as a Trap as well for Battle Phase shinanigans.  

 

For non-6Sam Spells: 2-3 Mystical Space Typhoon and Book of Moon are good ideas.

 

As far as your traps go, only keep Solemn Warning.  The others are pretty much terrible.  Here's a decent trap Line-up for 6-Sams:

 

2-3 Breakthrough Skill

2-3 Dimensional Prison

0-2 Black Horn of Heaven

0-1 Musakani Magatama 

1 Solemn Warning

1 Compulsory Evacuation Device

1 Bottomless Trap Hole

 

Outside of Magatama and Black Horn, everything else is pretty much staple these days.  

 

Another thing you want to do is to fill out your Extra Deck.  Most 6Sams rely on Extra Deck plays.  Here's a optimal Extra Deck:

1 Black Rose Dragon
1 Blade Armor Ninja
1 Gagaga Cowboy
1 Goyo Guardian
1 Heroic Champion - Excalibur

101 and maybe Goyo will cost you the most.  Otherwise, Extra Deck might not be too expensive.  But really, the deck can't function without a good Extra.

This is about as good as you're gonna get.  Extra Deck is gonna cost you the most out of everything here, but nothing outside of 101 and maybe Goyo are going to be more than $20.  If you don't want to pay for 101, drop it for a Stardust Dragon.

Since this is online, I'd also suggest Evilswarm Excition Knight in the Extra as well.  Perhaps drop Leviair for it, as I don't see you banishing too much.  Excition is basically a walking Heavy Storm, which is nice to have.  It's averaging $80 right now, but it's perfectly viable for online decks.
