RedEmissaryofDarkness
Lore:Tribute 2 Fiend type Monsters on your side of the field, Special Summon 1 "Dark World" Monster from your Hand, Deck, or Graveyard. When Special Summoned, treat its effect like it was discarded by your opponent's card. You cannot Conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this card. This card's effect nor the Summoning can be Negated. Just thought of this randomly. don't know how well this could actually work, but worth a shot. let me know how this card works, and tell me if i need any improvements
Excalibur the Divine
Lore: Tribute 2 Fiend-Type monsters on your side of the field, Special Summon 1 "Dark World" monster from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard. When Special Summoned, treat it as if it was discarded by an opponent's card effect. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this card. This card's effect nor the Summoning can be negated.Hmmm...let me try to make a list Positive: Sp Summon 1 dark world monster, you get to use its effect Cannot be negated Negative: Tribute 2 monsters (a lot) Cannot conduct BP Very Slow I think that it is underpowered, and I think that it should be tribute only 1 monster instead of 2. Yemachu
Tribute 2 Fiend type Monsters on your side of the field, Special Summon 1 "Dark World" Monster from your Hand, Deck, or Graveyard. When Special Summoned, treat its effect like it was discarded by your opponent's card. You cannot Conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this card. This card's effect nor the Summoning can be Negated. Quite a pointless card as it is now. Most "Dark World" monsters activate their effects upon being discarded to the Graveyard; where this card discards them to the field... sort of. Even if we assume that they are discarded to the Graveyard, this card still does not work that well with most "Dark World" monsters. The issue here is best illustrated with some examples, so here are a few "Dark World" monsters: Lucent, Netherlord of Dark WorldIf this card is discarded to the Graveyard by a card effect: Special Summon this card from the Graveyard, then, if it was discarded from your hand to your Graveyard by an opponent's card effect, you can Special Summon 1 Fiend-Type monster from your Deck to either side of the field. Sillva, Warlord of Dark WorldIf this card is discarded to the Graveyard by a card effect: Special Summon it from the Graveyard, then, if this card was discarded from your hand to your Graveyard by your opponent's card effect, your opponent returns exactly 2 cards from their hand to the bottom of their Deck, in any order. Both of them have quite similar effects; when they are discarded, they Special Summon themselves. If an opponent's card effect discarded them, their other effect activates once they hit the field by their own effect. Because your card Special Summons the monster, the "Dark World" monsters cannot Special Summon themselves anymore and, therefore, not activate their second effect. Most other memebers of the archtype have a similar effect. Now how to fix this card? Since the effects of most members activate upon being discarded to the Graveyard, it would not be susch a bad idea to do just that: discard a "Dark World" monster (to the Graveyard). Though not all members have an effect which Special Summon themselves upon discarding, the majority does. How you implement this effect is up to you, but I would propose to implement it something like this: "Activate by tributing 1 Fiend-Type monster you control. Discard 1 "Dark World" monster from your hand (this is treated as being discarded by an opponent's card effect). You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this card." I hope my vision/suggestion is of some usage to you.
Dramatic Crossroad
While the card is OK as it is, it is as others noted slightly-off when it comes to being useful and somewhat slow/obvious. I can offer a slightly different effect, that could work better for "Darkworlds", while still keeping the original concept behind the card. Here's it: [Continious Spell] Tribute 1 "Dark World" monster you control; add 1 "Dark World" monster from your Graveyard to your hand, and if you do - control of this card switches to your opponent until the End Phase. When a "Dark World" monster is Summoned; any cards added to a player's hand by the effect of "Dark World Sacrifice" are discarded. During the turn this card is activated you cannot conduct your Battle Phase. [Quick-Play Spell] You cannot conduct your Battle Phase during this turn. Tribute 1"Dark World" monster you control: target 1 Level 6 or lower "Dark World" monster from your Deck; add the target to your hand, and if you do - switch control of this card to your opponent, then discard that card.
