tell me, how often does this purge happen

and why doesn't everyone on ycm get mod powers and nothing becomes illegal for 24 hours while it occurs

where is the ycm kitchen

these are important questions

omg a real ycm purge with no rules for 24 hours how gg would that be

I remember being in MSN chats with Jesse, Welche, and Dog during the drama, but I probably lost the logs when I uninstalled MSN or something.

I still have a lot of msn chats saved on my computer somewhere.  I should pull them up and post them.

It is a rule to listen to mods or can you go to another mod if one mod is, in a sense, abusing their power?

I'm trying to imagine a situation where a mod is "abusing power" in a way that you can just talk to a different mod. The closest example is something like asking your father for permission after your mother said no, but that doesn't involve power abuse.

If a mod is actually being abusive, such as being completely unprofessional or blatantly singling you out and locking all your stuff without justification or such, you could report it to a Super Mod, who will probably examine the circumstances.

Can you please move this to general if you want us to take it seriously?

Or, crazy thought, follow the (small list of) rules of the section, which includes allowing a [serious] tag. Thinking a rule is stupid is not a reason to break it.

Question. What is all of the mods favorite series of video games?

But the rule literally makes the general section pointless

The main difference is you can ask stupid questions here and we're not gonna complain in general we probably would, but not so you can just open cans of spam.

And to answer LordCowCow - The Pokemon series

And the other nothing really, probably the internet. (If I can get my Yogscast Daily hit I'm good)

We shouldn't really be getting into justifying/discussing bans, I know this an AUA, but I would class this as something that should not be discussed here.

Make it an AUAA then...

That doesn't really explain it.  General is full of serious stuff and joke stuff.  Is there a real distinction or is it arbitrary

I don't want to ask another question right now (those were questions I was gonna ask anyway) but I want to put my thoughts in, just this once.

This makes things a lot more clean. Allowing the generally(puns) legitimate serious topics to not get buried under semi-serious semi-spam topics. And making it much easier to moderate things.

I mean, I don't see why it's an issue, you get the best of both worlds this way.
