Kill la Kill dub.

Why pay like 20 bucks for the DVD when anime dub sites let you watch it for free?

Why buy a game when I can Pirate it? Why buy a Strategy Guide when I can use GameFAQ's? Why purchase a Music CD if I can Pirate it?

Believe me the most hardcore fans will still lap the Anime up regardless and support the company (Heck even I went out and purchased the complete Series of Groove Adventure Rave on DVD once I watched it on the net)

EDIT: Oh and just to let you know, sometimes the company requests a Take Down of the series if it is Licensed. One of my Animes I hold dearest to my heart (Pita Ten) has still not been licnesed yet. I would buy the crap out of it if it was ever on DVD....

I stand corrected! No English Subs though.....

There's pretty much no excuse to pirate anything these days (at least in the US or Canada), but it's still hard to chastise people for jacking Aniplex releases.

Still, if I want to watch any of their stuff, I'll just go to Crunchyroll and deal with subs, even though I really want Fate Zero in English.

Who's "they"? Aniplex? Are you saying that the illegal site you linked to was provided the episode by Aniplex? Why would they do that? If they were to release the first episode for free, why would they put it there?

It's not illegal. If it were it'd be shut down by now. And In put the link up there so people can watch it for free any time. And If the people like it, then they can buy it. It stays.

$60 for four episodes? All the anime DVDs I own were in the $20 range when they were new.

Heck, Tekkaman Blade ran me up like $60-80 for the full 50+ episode series and all three TV specials.

If you want to pirate in the privacy of your own basement, that's on you.

But, advocating for others on the internet to pirate is pure douchebaggery.

You're telling people to take money from these companies, and if they decide not to license future dubs because piracy, you won't get the right to have an opinion on the matter because you're the problem.

I'm all for pirating anime that isn't being sold by companies anymore (ex: VHS-era stuff from the 90's,) but pirating recently-dubbed anime that a company wants to make money off of is immoral and disrespectful to the voice-actors and staff behind dubbing it.

Yes, you are pissing on Lisa Ortiz and Johhny Yong Bosch when you pirate their recent works.

No, it is illegal. The unfortunate truth about the Internet is that you can pirate things on it, and it's also possible that Aniplex just needs time to find the site before they take it down. Unless you have multiple sources confirming that the site is a legitimate place for the official dub to be hosted, I will stand by what I said.

I am done. I am sorry but I am done.... Not illegal you say? If the Anime is licensed and is released in America then it IS Illegal to view said Anime online. Until that time then by all means enjoy it. I appriciate the fact that people do upload a ton of Anime for me and everyone else to enjoy but the moment I hear that a ANime is coming out Dubbed on DVD, I don't watch it online. The UK is a bit more lenient on Piracy but I don't want someone knocking at my door demanding that I go to court for watching illegal material. You are encouraging people to Pirate which is just plain wrong. Also you have gone against a Mod by reposting the Link again. Congratulations on that.....
