DARKPLANT RISING
The three despairs in a post-apocalyptic life"The despair of losing the one who Special Summons me...""The despair of not being worth the Special Summon anymore...""And the despair of not being able to Special Summon at all." If it were not named "The Winged Dragon of Ra" - like, a completely original card in that sense - it could have been greated with great pleasure as a quite "unique" and "entertaining" card some people will create fan decks with. Well, sadly, it appears their printer went wrong and accidentally printed it with this name and art. I am still awaiting for Konami to admit their printer was wrong, and print the real Ra, but maybe that's impossible because it kills people and its text is friggin Ancient Egyptian. While I await, discuss on possible combos, or otherwise just troll and spam.
Rodrigo
or otherwise just troll and spam. Sounds good. But I'd still get a warn =/ OT: omg guise, phantom skyblaster makes this easy to summon and don't forget giant germ1111
Greiga
Is posting in TCG officially confirming your revival? People trashed Ra even more when Slifer came out and was good. At least Ra'd Disciple and Mound are real now.
Alastar Rainford
someone ran Ra in a Cloudian deck against me. filled their field with smoke balls and BAM!! turn 2 ra on my empty field didn't even get mad
DARKPLANT RISING
Not really "revival", I just came for a random visit. I doubt I will be active, as I don't play the game much anymore, but sometimes I remember old days and, so yeah.
goddamnit names are a pain
Slifer was good because Yugi played it. Obelisk was ok because Seto played it. This one sucks because a villain played it. /KonamiLogic Granted Yugi eventually played all 3 but shhh This card sucks. /thread
Neochu-H
if this and slifer had the cannot be targeted by card effects on them like obelisk, they'd be more worth running.

No, not really. Slifer, maybe, but Slifers already nice. You can't make a sucky card good by saying "cannot be targeted". Except Leo, Keeper of the Sacred Tree, who would literally not have an effect except "during your main phase 2" and some other text.
Toffee.
Darkplant, you should honestly write Ygo fanfictions. They would be legendary. That aside... Ra's Kazuki artwork is still the most badass this ever.
evilfusion
Obligatory mention of how making this unable to be SSed ruins Ra's shtick. Seriously, I mention this EVERY TIME the topic comes up. It was clearly given so many nerfs because Ra was pretty much an OTK behemoth. If it could pay LP at any time, it'd be abusable. If it gained ATK from the Tributes, it'd easily be able to get 5000+ ATK just by Summoning it. If it could Tribute monsters to gain ATK, it'd be extremely powerful on a whim. It also was noted that maybe Ra wasn't allowed to be SSed in anticipation of Horakthy.
Maeriberii Haan
I like the part on how you need to choose whether to get a vanilla 3-tributes beatstick or a card popper with 0 ATK.

Don't forget that it's a vanilla 3 Tributes beatstick that cost all your LP.
Maeriberii Haan
but but LP didn't mean anything until you hit zero, right?/sarcasm. But yeah, divine grilled kfc got screwed hard. Though, isn't there a very gimmicky Utopia Ray+Ra deck thingy?

Toffee.
divine grilled kfc got skewered hard. Not only that, but it was roastedAnd overcookedAnd utterly burntAnd that, my friends, is why Ra was nerfed into oblivion.
