If you want to play burn, then play Chain Burn. thank you for that insightful comment! but yeah there's a fair bit wrong with the deck. it's possible to pull stall burn off but you need cards that guarantee they will do something because when you're up against an onslaught of plays you can't afford to have anything dead, and you also need to make sure none of your cards will trigger opponent's cards that you intend to make dead, such as mirror force, bottomless and torrential tribute. i'd get rid of some of the mediocre stuff like inferno, fire trooper, volcanic slicer, solar flare and ufo turtle, honestly just using fires isn't the best way to go about it. i suggest you use something similar to this, feel free to pull me up on any card choices 3 swift scarecrow 3 stealth bird 3 lava golem 3 marshmallon (it's at 3, right?) 3 wave-motion cannon 3 toll 3 chain energy 3 pot of duality 3 just desserts 3 nightmare wheel 3 waboku 3 magic cylinder 3 dimension wall 1 ceasefire this is pretty rough so idk if i forgot anything but i think it's about as viable as stall burn gets Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Because Quick Effect protection from the hand is so efficient compared to trying to maintain Area B or Swords (though they aren't awful choices, either). This burn deck would be good for casual play, which is fine. But in a competitive environment, it'd be a stretch. I personally love Fire Princess Burn because it gives you such a big cushion when played right, but even she has been left in the dust by the meta. No, chances are you just wouldn't be able to keep up with the fast Summoning of stuff like Masked Heroes and Wind-Ups and the like. Good job fitting in Bribe and Anubis, though. Its ATK is too low to get any worthwhile kills, and though its 1900 DEF is respectable for its Level, eventually your opponent will just crush it. Fire Trooperx2 - While its burst damage is fine, the number of monsters you find yourself running means that you want better things to do with your Summons rather than waste them for 1000 damage. That kind of investment is only good when going for the kill. Volcanic Slicerx1 - In this kind of Deck, it'd be better to put in more copies. 1800 ATK provides a good offensive pressure for its Level, and it still can contribute with chips of burn damage when it can't attack. Lava Golemx1 - Toss in an extra copy to draw into it a little more often. Spells: Level Limit Area Bx2 - Because Xyz Monsters can outright bypass this, I'd prefer Messenger of Peace. Dark room of Nightmarex3 - You can do with one less copy of this. Too many of this without good damage sources tends to clog up your field and creates dead draws. Swords of Revealing Lightx3 Wave Motion cannon x2 Traps: Ojama Triox2 Ordeal of a Travelerx3 - Terrible stuff. Your opponent's chances of guessing correctly will taper towards 100% as the Duel progresses, and if you're topdecking, this card is outright useless. I'd recommend Threatening Roar or the like. Dimensional Prisonx2 Magic Cylinderx2 Mirror Forcex1 Dark Bribex3 Judgement of Anubisx1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Also Battle Fader>swift scarecrow battle fader can be stopped by cards such as solemn warning and vanity's emptiness which often leads to you losing the game.
