Makο
OSTs to Starhawk, Halo Wars, and Command and Conquer: Generals are all fantastic, and under appreciated I say. OST to Space Battleship Yamato 2199 is also fantastic.
Susie
not really too much for OSTs but this one from a badass and highly underrated experimental animated film has to be one of the greatest things ive ever heard
.Rai
Never checked out Halo Wars' soundtrack, but I assume it's probably just variations of the main franchise music. Martin O'Donnell did a good job on the series. I never get excited about Halo music though. Don't really know why.Oh, yeah, feel free to post film stuff too and etcetera. Probably slightly clichéd, but Interstella 5555 is just a really good fit to Discovery. Good work, Daft Punk.
Just Crouton
The Quake and PSX Doom OSTs are God Mode. The 3DO ports of Doom and Wolfenstein's OSTs are incredible. Wolf 3DO's OST is like Final Fantasy Tactics. Young Justice's OSTs are really great, too, especially Lobo's theme.

Here and there, some main themes show their heads, but it's usually all original, and holy hell is like 90% of the music slow and calming. It's so relaxing to sit and listen to. Personal favorites: Insignificantia (All Sloppy/No Joe), Bad Here Day, Money or Meteors, Work Burns and Runaway Grunts, Freaked Out (only 44 seconds long, but still a favorite)
Freaked Out is even more amazing in the cutscene it was played in, imo http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=WHACKP-OLUY

Shradow
Touhou music is always good. Some of my favorite game series' OSTs are Fire Emblem and Mario Galaxy games. For anime, Attack on Titan, Kill la Kill, One Piece, and Gash Bell are all wonderful.

mitchermitcher
http://youtu.be/pJ0I9LQ2EOA First thing that came to mind. Something more vidya gaems related, er.... http://youtu.be/ggUmboz_kiE Been on a Falcom OST rage lately, so I guess that. It's a remix of a battle theme from Sora no Kiseki First Chapter, but it's also used as a battle theme in Second Chapter.
Agro
First thing that came to mind. Correction, this is the best song on that soundtrack, although the whole damn thing is amazing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zVoXxu_9_ZI Here are more links to Taku Iwasaki worth listening to. (apologies that Libera Me From Hell is so weird, especially in the middle) And since I'm here, here's the end of music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6NaZrPQGfY
.Rai
I feel like people on this forum are way too easily impressed by tracks provided they have an orchestra in them. But that's a side note.I have no clue what Gatchaman Crowds is, but the music ain't shabby. Sounds like an old-school disco revival all over.Jesus, that Sonic track was cheesy as hell. J-Max
The first two Black Mages Final Fantasy Albums. The third is meh but the first two are fucking epic. With easily one of the most epic versions of One WInged Angel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHzEaKFqboI Orgasm to the ears, each and every time I hear it. mitchermitcher
http://youtu.be/cUs8FEsDUZ4 Time for some Fate stuff. http://youtu.be/aDXr9IlX_Yc And for orchestras, this is about as epic as I've heard. Once you get to the silent part, that was just amazin'.
.Rai
I personally can't stand that Sen No Kiseki thing. Maybe because it's probably not a real orchestra, but mostly because it has a choir singing in Latin (probably). It's a trend I notice a lot in JRPGs (and also Western action games): hire (or synthesise) a giant orchestra, and proceed to overload your soundtrack with bombast. Dynamics start at forte and only ever go up. Some of the best soundtracks' strength lie in their subtlety.
Madsen
May I just mention that the Ace Attorney and Investigations series have had the best OSTs in gaming ever? Also Mega Man and Mega Man X.
Aix
The only two OST names I know in anime. Yuki Kajiura https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dE-QXsqf-9E She sings in her own language so her words can be free for interpretation. Yoko Kanno https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N82fP5hKZPY Cowboy Bebop is only 26 episodes and has 6+ hours of soundtrack .-.
Elijah~
This one of the most epic OST's I've listened to, http://youtu.be/dx6tXLq27hQ Disclaimer- This is not a character from BRS(Black Rock Shooter) since she has a tail and cat ears and BRS has none of those traits. The character you see in the video is a custom character created by Shirogane Usagi. This OST is pretty much what my childhood grew up on. I always loved playing SA2 as a kid and I still play it to this day. This game should be put in a showcase even though it has it's fair share of flaws, just like every other game. http://youtu.be/d-JC-vqeBXM
