She has two duel disks; one is a standard, bladed model, albeit blue in color. This one is the one that she used when she’s not showing off. While the other, if you can call it a duel disk, is her keyboard, something that she usually carries on her back everywhere she goes. The “Duel Keyboard” is really just a keyboard that doubles as a duel disk.

 

Her Duel Runner is modeled after the legendary Jack Atlas’s Duel Runner, though with several modifications, one main thing is the ability of flight, and a more streamlined design, though it made the Duel Runner a bit on the unstable side.

Adelais is usually silent, only bothered to talk if she has something to add to the discussion, or if she believes that her snarking is needed. She is kind of arrogant at times, but when she meets people with actual talent, she can appreciate them. She hates those people that only rely on outside factors like from who they descended from, their family’s wealth, and the likes. Despite of that, she can see that Catherine (or Catty, as she preferred to call her) is the real deal, especially since she had known about her for quite a while. While she doesn’t exactly like anyone in particular bar a select few, she really despises people that cannot appreciate art, especially music, and sometimes to the point her calm demeanor shatters completely.

 

To people like Catherine and some others, she acts 180 degrees differently. She is quite playful with them, teasing them with nicknames and other things. She often plays multitude of pranks to them, but it’s mostly without any malicious intent. She really loves Catherine actually, and she will do anything to be on her side and protect her. She realizes that Catherine doesn’t really return her affection towards her, but she doesn’t care. She’ll care for her even if that would end her life, even if Catherine would end up hating her for it.

[spoiler=Biography]

A prodigy from the very beginning, little Adelais believed that her talent sets her apart from the other human beings, making her something very special and unique. In her school, she ended up being despised by most of her fellow students due to her arrogance, and she didn’t mind it at all due to her looking at them as just nothing more than maggots that hid their dimness with other’s light. One day, she met Catherine. At first she thought that Catherine was just another of those maggots, but something about her intrigued the young Adelais, and that made her continue her observation on her. The more she saw about Catherine, the more she realized that this person was very different than the others. Her intelligence, her charisma, all was actually from her own self. It was not that she was the next in-line to inherit an international company; it was not about her grandfather Jack Atlas (who Adelais admired). Catherine was the only thing that made Catherine the way she was. And that was made Adelais fall for her.

From that moment on, alongside continuing her education, she tried her best to befriend Catherine, and ending up as basically her right hand woman. Catherine had also changed her view about other people indirectly, as she became less arrogant than before to others, judging them first.

Mika stands at 157 cm, and has a fairly average build of a woman her age. Her dark purple hair is usually cut short safe for two locks that's often adorned by various accessories. Mika's wardrobe is rather limited, consisting mostly of sleeveless shirts (like the one in the picture) and blazers. She wears a short schoolgirl-style ruffled skirt and black knee-high socks. When on or off duty, she is always seen with a red messenger bag. The bag itself is a relatively average-looking made out of plain fabric, but it doesn't really stand out safe for the fact that it sports the Arcadia movement logo on the clip. Mika's duel disk is dark purple in color, like her hair. The card slots feature the same designs as her pupils on them, though it appears to serve no function. She doesn't have a duel runner of her own due to monetary issues, but she does have experience in riding them.

[spoiler=Personality]
Cynical with strong amounts of snark and sarcasm is probably the easiest way to describe Mika's personality. The cynicism can probably be attributed to her chosen profession as a freelance detective and her unique Psychic power, though. Highly untrusting of anyone, getting close to Mika can be rather difficult, as she would often make up blatant lies about herself and doubt everything the other person is saying unless she's talking to someone she fully trusts. Despite her constant snarkiness, she's actually pretty lively and would often brush off dangerous situations with a cocky smile. She makes up for her somewhat unpleasant personality by having a strong sense of justice. Despite advertising her services to be available to anyone with the money, she would drop a case immediately if she found out her client was in the wrong. She claims to hate liars, though one can call hypocrite on it as she is also very hesitant to tell truths about herself.
She holds a grudge against what she calls the "Authority", which is actually the Arcadia Movement. Her grudge stems from the fact that they wiped out most of her memories when she decided to "rebel" against them. Thanks to this, she doesn't remember five years of her life, safe for faint memories of her dueling and interrogating people under the watch of mysterious men.

[spoiler=Biography]
Mika's childhood, much like other Psychic duelists, has been rather bad, though not to the extent of others. For one, her pupils has been a constant source of of bullying throughout her childhood years, though she brushes it off by the time she's in middle school simply by saying that she's a chuunibyou. If that's all, it would have been fine. However, once her Psychic abilities activate, her friends start ostracizing her, eventually to the point where she graduated middle school almost completely alone.

Unlike other Psychic duelists whose ability is only limited to summoning physical Yu-Gi-Oh monsters, she has the ability to read people's minds to the point of knowing when a person is telling the truth or not. However, her abilities are only active when the person she's talking to is lying, and she can only use it on one person at a time. Despite the limitations of her abilities, this was enough for her to be avoided for the majority of her third middle school year and be sought after by Arcadia Movement.

At the age of 14, the Arcadia Movement approached her and, much like other Psychics, offered her to join them so she can get revenge on those who wronged her. Because she's still young and had an unstable mental state, she joined the Movement without thinking much about it. For the next five years, Arcadia used her to interrogate their enemies, which she was rather good at thanks to her ability. At the same time, Arcadia experimented on her powers to see if it would be powerful. After she was given the Venom compound, the limitations to her powers were somehow gone and she gained the ability to read people's thoughts just by gazing at them.

At first, she was proud of her newly heightened powers. However, after just a week, she started becoming scared of her own ability, due to the fact that it reads any and all thoughts, even bad and dirty ones. Eventually, she started becoming mad and begun to say out loud the thoughts of everyone near her with a blank stare. When Mika accidentally listened to the perverted thoughts of a fellow Psychic duelist who had a crush on her, she attacked him in a fit of blind rage. Deciding that she's becoming too much to handle, the Arcadia pulled the switch on her and wiped the memories of the five years she spent there. This also had the unanticipated side effecting of restoring the limitations back on her powers.

After this, she was abandoned by Arcadia and was left to fend for herself. Thankfully, she still remembered her ability to discern lies, and, in need of a job, she got herself in a detective school and obtained her license less than a year later. Because her ability is still 100% perfect every time, she would often be contacted by the police for interrogation and eventually got enough money to set up her own private investigation company.

Okay, I'm going to say this now, since I still need to explain Naoya's backstory. The Arcadia Movement is nothing like how it was under Divine's control. These days, it's kind of like Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, with Naoya himself being somewhere between Xavier and Magneto.

Souta stands at a respectable 5' 10", with his messy scarlet hair stretching down long enough to cover his ears. Due to being a dark signer, his amber colored eyes have the iconic black sclera. He's often seen wearing an orange, red and yellow vest (to give off a fiery look) overtop a black tank top, with black cargo pants on his legs and sporting black sneakers.  His duel disk looks more like it was made of out of molten rock that is constantly glowing. His duel runner is based off of a chopper model, given a molten color scheme to it. Furthermore, on the underside of it, there is a single, though very unoticable, painted on bunny encased in hot rod flames.

 

Despite the fiery appearance he gives off, Souta is a man who is rather calm and collected, often wearing a smile across his face. He is one of the more level headed people, not usually willing to rush into things. When it comes to others, he tends to act rather playful towards them. Usually acting in some sort of manner that is simply just mocking or poking fun at others. Furthermore, he tends not to really care about what happens to others, so long as it doesn't get in his way, therefore, despite his overall want to win on the dark signers side, he's pretty passive. 

 

Souta's upbringing was nothing special. Born into a pretty middle class family, and one that treated him like any regular family would. He, however, was always one to get himself into trouble. Due to being in the pursuit of fun most of the time, he never really tough about consequences, and because of that, rushed into any situation and usually end up getting himself into some sort of trouble. However, one day, he took things a little too far. Thinking it'd be fun to just what riding a duel runner would be like, he stole the one his dad had. Having no experience with actually riding one, he crashed it going at top speed, dying instantly. 

 

Being filled with nothing but regret towards with how his life had gone, feeling that he had been nothing but a stupid kid. He was then met by what appeared to be a giant alligator, floating around in whatever void he had stumbled into.  The next thing Souta knew, he was back in the world of the living. He was greeted by a voice that revealed itself to be an Earthbound Immortal of legend, by the name of Ccomnosuma, and educated Souta about the ongoing war between the signers and dark signers, and what his purpose in life was now. Having no reservations about this at all, the reborn Souta decided to simply find the rest of the Dark Signers before charging into this war.

Katsuo is an extremely large individual, towering over most at  6' 8". To complement his monstrous height, Katsuo is extremely muscular, and has been stated to be able to lift a car (it is unsure whether this is true.) With his large brown eyes, large eyebrows, and shaved black haired head, he has an almost militaristic air to him. He will usually be seen garbed in the Neo Domino Duel Academy uniform. His duel disk is shaped like a golden shield on the part that clasps to the arm, with the blade part being silver and completely rectangular. His duel runner, unlike most which are modeled after motorcycles, is modeled after a limousine, though it lacks a roof, and is pink.   

 

 

He is a person who is hopelessly devoted to his cause. What is this cause? The complete, and utter completion of whatever Catherine's mind has been set to. Having a large sense of admiration towards the girl, he has pledged absolute loyalty towards her and will not let any harm befall her. Katsuo is a boisterous man, often times yelling for no real reason. Katsuo is further made intimidating by fact that he is a man who is completely uncaring of pain. With an iron clad resolve, Katsuo is a man of complete discipline, punishing all rule breaking students, no matter who they may be.

 

A man who grew up always fascinated by various forms of media in which a true hero existed. One who would uphold the peace of the world, and champion of all justice. It was through this that Katsuo was able to realize just how many parallels could be drawn between the shows and the real world, that he decided to devote himself to one cause. The cause to be a man who upholds the law of the world, and bring all those who would defy it. As such, he began training his body and mind, developing the herculean body of his he has now and his iron resolve. Doing his best no matter where he went, he believed to be the authority where it was lacking, until one fateful day. The day where he confronted Catherine.

 

He had seen her as nothing more than an obstruction of justice. A tyrant who wanted nothing more than to take over the school for her own nefarious purposes. And as such, he challenged her to a duel. It had ended as quickly as it had begun, and Katsuo had been beaten without ever having a chance. However, through that duel, he came to realize that she was indeed a source of justice that he had always admired. It was there that he realized that he must become Catherine's "shield" so as to prevent any sort of outside nuisance from getting in the way of her ultimate goal. 

 

Deck: Lightsworns. Basically a deck that says to your opponent you never liked having a deck in the first place.

Maho is a loli little girl with 142 in height. She has hair and eyes of light blue, which is her favorite color. She is always seen in the magical girl outfit which is based on her favorite anime, the only exception is when she have to wear the duel academy's uniform. Maho's Duel Disk is the special model that have the arm blade composed of energy (similar to the newest model using at Miami) with light blue color and the main body designed in rabbit doll-shape. She also possessed the recently developed Duel Board, which is able to accelerate almost as fast as Duel Runner.

Maho is kind and polite, although she used to be the kind of person who living in her own world, being stubborn and only think about herself, but after she was brought to Yliaster as a Signer and learned how important of friendship and teamwork through the last war between Signer and Dark Signer, she changed herself and that's when she started to see Duel Spirits. Maho now cares for other people more than herself, also she is always being kind to the Duel Spirits of her cards that are now her best friends, so her duel is usually a defensive style that focus on protecting her monsters while slowly gathering advantage, respectively.

Maho had been lived in an orphanage in satellite since she could remember. She was told that her parents left her here when she was a baby, but no one could tell her why. Her childhood was not so good, she always being bullied and trolled by bad gangsters because she's smarter and better at dueling than them, and that made her a selfish person. who cares for no one but herself, even after she earned Duel academy's scholarship and moved to the academy dorm in the city.
Due to Maho's wisdom and her past, she's seems to be more mature than other children in her age, although at the same time, she was very cold and unfriendly. What she interested in was only fictional world like anime, especially Magical Girl anime, where many problems in her real life is solved so easily. A year ago, Yliaster, an organization that she didn't know before contacted her and told that she is a signer. They invited her to join them but she refused at first. Yliaster didn't give up and sent their people to visit Maho with her Signer Dragon. When she touched it, her birthmark that she has never seen before suddenly appeared on her right arm, and she accepted to visit Yliaster just because she want information
But things went far more than she expected. She learned about the truth of 50 years ago, the war between Signer and Dark Signer, the existence of King of Netherworld, Crimson Dragon and Earthbound Immortals, and their result to the world. These information have a lot of impact on her, and finally, she joined Yliaster by her own will. After that, she trained hard on dueling, willing to not lose to any Dark Signers she have to face to bring the King of Netherworld down.

Despite being rather well proportioned, Marina is short and thin, standing at only 5'2" with a B-W-H ratio of 33C-23-33. She wears her hair fairly short, and at its longest it only goes down to the bottom of her neck. Marina is outdoors and exercises often, and as a result she is in good shape despite her small frame. Even on warmer days, Marina usually dresses in a hoodie or long sleeve shirt and pants, in part because she is often outdoors and favors functionality over aesthetic appeal, and in part because she is small and is prone to being cold. She's not above dressing more attractively (such as the short skirt pictured above), but even when she does her own comfort takes priority over how she looks. Regardless of what she feels like wearing that day, however, she always wears a gold, star-shaped hairclip which is, in actuality, a device meant to dampen her powers (though due to the strength of her psychic abilities, it often does little to help her cope with them and she must rely heavily on self-regulation of her powers). Her duel disk is a current model colored bright yellow with electric blue trim. Though she does know how to operate one, Marina does not own a duel runner. However, due to her fondness for staying active, she does own a duel board in the same colors as her duel disk. Though she tends to be quiet, Marina always gives of an air of restlessness, like she has somewhere to get to or something to do, and she's apt to fidget. [/spoiler]
[spoiler=Personality]

One cannot discuss Marina's personality without first being aware of her abilities, which have had a huge impact upon her life and how she has developed as a person. Like many psychics, Marina is an Empath, which means she is able to feel the emotions, moods, and intentions of others. However, unlike other Empaths, who must focus this ability on a singular target, Marina is unable to filter out any of the emotions of people around her, meaning she is constantly bombarded by the feelings of anyone she is in close proximity to. Due to the strength of her powers, those emotions often cause her physical pain, either due to the sheer volume of feelings bombarding her system or due to the negativity of someone she's sensing. Marina is unable to handle crowds for very long because of this, and its possible to physically hurt her should she come into contact with someone who is particularly angry or depressed. On the flip side, Marina is occasionally able to feel euphoric from sensing particularly strong positive thoughts. In addition to her empathy, Marina also possesses the ability to manifest duel monsters cards, meaning she can make any card she plays become real, and capable of inflicting physical harm. Like her empathy, she is unable to control this ability, and so roughly 80% of the cards she plays become real, whether she wants them to or not. To compound matters, Marina is able to see and communicate with Duel Spirits, and as a result many of her manifested cards bring the spirits connected with them into the real world. Obviously, these powers have made her life rather difficult.

 

Marina is kind, sensitive, withdrawn, and willful. In part due to her ability to feel the emotions of others, Marina is very understanding, and is always the first to notice of someone is sad or angry. Though she isn't always able to help, she's the first to offer to do so, and even when someone isn't in a bad way Marina is apt to do small favors or give a helping hand, since doing good for others makes her feel fulfilled and is one of the few forms of social interaction she is adept at. Though she's quite good at helping others with their problems, her powers tend to exacerbate her own. Due to a combination of her powers, her teenage hormones, and her general emotional sensitivity, Marina is a rather fragile girl. She's easily overwhelmed, and any emotional problems are exacerbated by her powers. Due to this, Marina has had quite a lot of difficulty forming relationships and socializing, and as a result  she'll often shy away from those she is unfamiliar with, and prefers to be by herself or with a small group of familiar friends rather than any large social setting. However, Marina strongly desires a normal social life, and as a result she's apt to get very attached to the friends she does make. This is especially true of the duel spirits of her deck, who were for many years her only friends,and even today she often talks to them when she's alone. Though she's extremely vulnerable, Marina would like to think that she's invincible. She's extremely headstrong and willful, often going out on her own to experience the city or the outdoors, much to the chagrin of Naoya and the other members of the Arcadia movement. Due to Marina;s need for social interaction, she has a strong desire to experience new things and try to connect with people, despite the pain that this is apt to cause her. In addition to her habit of striking out on her own, Marina is also strongly pacifistic. Though this is in part due to her kind-hearted nature, it is mainly due to her powers, since her manifestation abilities have caused great harm both to people that she knows and to the duel spirits she inadvertently summons during games. As a result, she tries hard to avoid dueling, and when she does her strategy often revolves around keeping her duel spirits from harm. Because of her empathy and her independent streak, Marina has also become very intuitive. She's extremely good at using her powers to read people, and although she cannot read others' thoughts, she's often able to guess at what's on their minds through a combination of her empathy and observation, though this is hampered somewhat by the pain her abilities can cause her.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Biography] Born to Damien and Meryl Esmeraile, a pair of European investors living in Neo Domino City, Marina began exhibiting her psychic abilities when she was very young. At first, her parents were only aware of her empathy, which continued to grow in strength as Marina aged until it became strong enough to be detrimental to her health (as it is now) when she was seven. Around this time, Marina's manifestation abilities also began to manifest uncontrollably, causing a good deal of harm to her parents and friends, especially since Marina was still learning to duel at that age. Not wanting to cause damage and pain, Marina subsequently adopted both her passive-defensive dueling style and her deck: Watts, which was most likely to cause the least damage due to its monsters' low ATK. Despite her efforts though, Marina was unable to reliably control her powers, and this combined with her social issues stemming from her empathy caused her to be ostracized and bullied as a child.

 

This was only exacerbated when Marina turned eleven, as it was around this time that she began to see, hear, and eventually communicate with duel spirits. She almost immediately befriended the cards in her deck (especially her favorite: Kurivolt), and she became even more withdrawn from normal social interaction, preferring instead her duel spirits' company. Over the proceeding year, Marina's social and medical problems worsened, and she was at one point hospitalized after being in proximity to a large crowd with particularly strong negative emotions. This, rather unsurprisingly, was at last too much for Marina's parents to handle, and after many a useless physician visit they made contact with the Arcadia movement in a last-ditch effort to provide relief and support to their daughter.

 

Upon her initial examination, it was determined that Marina's Psychic abilities, while extremely strong, were rather difficult to control due to her brain chemistry. As such Marina possessed no means by which to filter out all of the emotional input coming from those around her, and the damage this caused exacerbated her difficulties regarding control of her manifestation abilities, and was likely the cause of her ability to manifest the Duel Spirits she saw as well. Due to her unique, severe condition, as well as her social issues, it was decided that Marina would be sent to the Arcadia movement for treatment. Custody of Marina was subsequently given to Naoya Okudaira, the leader of the Arcadia Movement, in part due to his expertise, and in part because social interaction with his adopted daughter Alice, who was the same age as Marina, was thought to be good for her.

 

Ever since, Marina has been living with Naoya's family, seeing her parents when they are available and attending school (and subsequently Duel Academy) on the Arcadia movement's dime (with her parents covering many of the costs, of course). Despite the oddity of her current situation, this living arrangement has actually worked out very well for Marina. She has grown to be very much a part of the Okudaira family. She has become very close to Alice, who she sees as a sister, as the two spend a great deal of time together and share similar interests.  In addition Marina looks up to Naoya as a father figure, and is often very eager to lend him a hand with the day-to-day running of the Arcadia Movement, helping him file paperwork and delivering messages in exchange for the freedom to go out on her own. During her six years with the movement, she's become a regular fixture around their offices and facilities, and as a result Marina is on a first-name basis with many of its prominent members. Though she's come out of her shell in recent years, her social and medical problems still exist, exacerbated by the normal problems associated with being a teenage girl. Luckily though, Marina has managed to make a few close friends at duel academy, and despite her trouble with social activities (like dating, for instance) she's managed to come a long way.

Wears the standard Neo Domino Duel Academy uniform (white shirt, blue jacket, red tie) when he (unwillingly) has to attend. Otherwise, he is seen wearing expensive looking clothes, but with a terrible fashion sense. He also likes using silver jewelry (rings, earrings, necklaces). Uses a black and grey standar-ish Duel Disk, something similar to this. Owns a silverish grey, customized duel runner. Sometimes carries a bamboo sword with him.[/spoiler]

[spoiler=Personality:]Too put it bluntly, he is kind of a jackass. Having been raised in the streets, Damien learned to trust nobody the hard way. He is blunt and to the point, never afraid of speaking his mind, something that can lead him to trouble. Trouble that he won't ever refuse, of course, since he has a knack for confrontations, be it mere arguments or physical fights. Speaking of fights, his experiences have made him a talented brawler. He is both adept at fist-fighting and at kendo, art wich was taught to him by his mentor, Calixto. Damien thinks very highly of this man, considering him a father-like figure, and the only person truly worthy of his respect. On the other hand, the lack of a motherly figure in his life has made him wary and generally disrespectful to women (Catherine being an exception).

Has an incredibly strong wish to prove himself, not to anyone in particular, but to the whole world. That's his main driving force, and he sees in Catherine a mean to accomplish it. Being looked down on, or being treated as an "underdog" triggers him to the point of completely losing his cool (if he has one, that is...). Despite his rather impulsive demeanor, he becomes surprisingly clear-minded when he has to duel, being able to think of turn-around situations in a pinch.[/spoiler]

[spoiler=Biography]While the defeat of the Dark Signers by the hands of Yusei and Co and the finalization of the Daedalus Bridge significantly diminished the social problems and the inequality in the area, it didn't do as much as to stop them completely. A good part of the population was still affected by those issues, even when more than fifty years have passed. This boy was part of that unfortunate bunch. Having been abandoned soon after he was born and being left with nothing but his name, Damien had to, literally, live on the streets. He survived by teaming up with a bunch of young derelicts that were in the same situation as him. Resorting to pickpocketing at the beginning, he inevitably drifted into organized crime. He became some sort of errand boy for the big shots of the underworld, and was commanded to do several violent tasks. He wasn't particularly happy with this way of living, but it was the only one he knew of. Also, his anger and inferiority complex got the better of him, making Damien particularly ruthless and effective at his job. The only escape he had from this cruel lifestyle was Duel Monsters, a game he had loved since he was little.

However, everything changed when Yliaster intervened. At the age of 16, Damien had already shown signs of being a signer, and was being followed closely by the organization. Calixto Hunter, the Yliaster member responsible for observing Damien, took a special liking to the kid, and decided that he would give him a better living environment. Damien's bosses's place was raided, and he was brought into custody by Yliaster. While reluctant at the start, Damien realized that there was a whole new world of opportunities opening up for him. Also, it was the first time of his life that he felt special, with the possibility of him being a signer, the inheritor of the powers of those legendary people that everyone talked about. He started living with Calixto, and took his last name. He helped his mentor in his side job, running the bar Bootleg, by dealing with annoying customers and doing odd jobs, all while training his signer powers and dueling skills.

He was challenged by Catherine Atlas, and suffered a crushing defeat at her hands. While hurt in his pride, he understood that Catherine's power was the real deal, and that by sticking with her he could rise to yet unseen heights, so he decided to accept the offer she made him to work with her. But unfortunately for Damien, Catherine's plan involved him getting enrolled in the Neo Domino Duel Academy. How will this tough guy handle formal education for the first time on his life...?[/spoiler]

Calder is about 170 cm tall and has a very lean build. His attitire consists usually of a blue pullover and white pants, with a white scarf along his neck. His average hair has a silver-blueish color, his eyes are blue and he has somewhat pale skin, however, he does not care so much about his looking. His Duel Disk is a standart 5D's Disk, the main body covered in a light blue and the blade being a light blueish white. [/spoiler]
Personality: Calder is a somewhat detached and lonely character, acting distant but still respectful to others. If he speaks, he usually talks in a very polite tone, even when he's angry. Also he has the habit of censoring curse words, like some of his cards do, with the word 'Fish'. Normally, he does only speak what is necessary, sometimes he even sololy relies on mimics and gestics to communicate with others. He enjoys silence, particulary when he's outside in the nature and likes to spent long times outside, at the seaside or in the park, wherever he can be alone and enjoy the surroundings and be alone with his Duel Spirits. However, if someone threatens to destroy something Calder cares for, usually nature and/or environment, he can also become very protective, doing everything he can in order to save those things. He also enjoys being with animals, especially fish and other ocean inhabitants, since they do not have to talk, like Calder.

Biography: Calder was born into a happy and intact family, being their third child after his brother and sister. However, his family soon found out that Calder was not like his siblings. He took extremly long to develop skills, for example, he didn't walk until he was 2 years old and he spoke his first word at the age of 5. They took him to lots of doctors, although no one could diagnose some kind of illness or mental disability that would explain his behavior. They finally told his parents that he just developed very slow and that they should just wait for time to fix it. When Calder came into school, he kept his silent attitude and was usually rejecting all of his classmates attempts to become friends with him. This, mixed with the overall great grades he scored in almost all subjects, soon earned him the reputation of an outsider.

When he was sixteen, his parents saw a documentary about Psychic Duelists on TV, some of them which were able to talk to so called 'Duel Spirits', spiritual embodyments of Duel Monster Cards. The next day, they took Calder to someone from the Arcadia Movement, who confirmed what they were already suspecting: Calder was a Psychic Duelist and able to talk to those Spirits. They found out that Calder was in fact talking to the Spirits in his head almost all the time, thus paying no more attention to what was happening around him, also, they helped him during tests and quizzes, by also learning and later telling him the stuff they remembered. His parents were relieved they finally knew what was going on inside of their youngest son, so they happily allowed him to join the Arcadia Movement, to learn about his powers and get them under his control. Over time, Calder learned to focus less on his Duel Spirits and more on his surroundings, however, he is still detached from other people and prefers to be alone or just a bystander rather than talking with others.

Deck: He uses a 'Banifish' or also 'Generation Fish' Deck, which revolves around using WIND and WATER Monsters from the sea, which continuously banish and return themselves, in order to summon powerful Synchro Monsters, mainly his three 'Aerial Oceanforce' Monsters.

Known as the Arcadia Movement's Princess for his good looks, he is often mistaken for being much younger than he is. He is also sometimes mistaken for a girl, because of his androgynous appearance, but he seems unaware that people even make this mistake, and should someone call him a girl he will correct them immediately. [spoiler='Personality']

Makoto to the public eye presents himself as a cutesy, and sweet to win people over and get his own way. He is a poster boy persay for the Arcadia Movement, and has become a popular profession duelist bolstering the Arcadia Movement's image in the eyes of the public. During duels in front of outsiders he will not use his psychic powers, and may even back himself into a corner purposely to make himself look more weak and vulnerable before coming back and winning. Like many children he has a penchant for mischief and pranks and causing trouble by pranking the grunts of the Arcadia Movement.

 

Hidden beneath this cutesy exterior is a child filled with sadistic, malice. When not under the public eye Makoto tortures and beats his opponents to a pulp, and some have even been driven insane by him. Though he will only do this to some opponents, such as enemies of the Arcadia Movement, and in a way he acts as the Arcadia Movement's assassin. Makoto has a deep sated hate for normal people that stems from his childhood, and will not associate them other than in a formal manner.

 

Despite Makoto's sadistic nature he holds the people of the Arcadia Movement close to his heart, and thinks of them as a family. He is especially close with Naoya and Alice referring to them Onii-chan and Onee-chan respectively. It is perhaps around the members of the Arcadia Movement is the best glimpse shown as to who Makoto really is, and only really glimpse that Makoto shows of his vulnerability. Around other Arcadia Movement members Makoto can be gentle and even kind loving to be with other members and talk with them. It is here that Makoto shows his age, often acting childish.

[spoiler='Biography']Makoto was originally born to a poor single parent home in the satellite, his father would often beat him due to the stress of not having enough money to make ends meet. Due to this Makoto would often spend much of his time away from home, and would sleep on the streets often getting arrested and sent back to his home, which would result in more beatings from his father. The vicious cycle continued day after day, and Makoto constantly prayed for an escape from it.

 

By his 10th birthday Makoto fled home for the last time, running from his father he began a life of theft and card dealing. He would steal Duel Monster's cards from local card shops, afterword pawning them off to people who wanted to by them cheap making enough money to just skirt by day after day. In the beginning it was difficult as he had to play it safe, or risk being caught and sent back to his father, but as Makoto become more skilled at using his good looks, and his improving his skill at thievery he began to rake in more profit. Eventually he began stealing more than just cards, and this lead him to have a run in with the wrong people.

 

Duel gangs who ran rampant throughout the Satellite eventually found the young pick pocket out. They, not the type to very forgiving, brutally beat Makoto, and would have killed him had his psychic powers not activated then and there. A large psionic burst spread out from him knocking the members of the duel gang unconscious. Scared and amazed by this new found power Makoto fled back to his secret hideout and began experimenting with his knew found power. 

 

Unfortunately soon after Makoto's past caught up with him. On a stormy night, Makoto's luck finally ran dry and he was caught by Sector Security and turned into to his father. Makoto's father angered attempted to beat the now 11 year old boy, but Makoto fearing for his life used his psychic powers to through his father against their home's wall. Running into the night, Makoto's now even further angered father chased after him. As he ran Makoto begged bystanders for help, yet they all brushed the boy off, not wanting to get involved with the boy's business. One of these bystanders was Naoya, and he too would have brushed the young Makoto off had he not sensed the boy's psychic abilities. Defending Makoto with one of his monsters Naoya knocked the boy's father unconscious and then whisked the boy away to the City.

 

Ever since then Makoto has lived in the Arcadia Movement building with Naoya, training both his power and dueling skill. It didn't take long for the young boy to hone his dueling skill, and seeing potential in the boy's already developed and infectious charisma Naoya placed out on to the professional circuit of dueling, using his cutesy outside to boost the public's opinion of psychic duelists.[/spoiler]
 

Deck: Space-Time; A deck that revolves around banishing Psychic-type monsters to activate their effects. It relies heavily on Special Summoning monster from the banished zone, and relies heavily on having cards in the Graveyard as fuel for their effects.

Carl is a buff tall officer with light brown eyes matched with fair skin, some scars on his neck and light beige lips that seem to almost match his skin tone. Appearance is not his priority. While at service, Carl wear his uniform, including a Black coat, black trousers, and a pair of black latex gloves. Often times when out of service, Carl likes to wear his hat that he received from his chief on the occasion of his promotion, which also has a silver falcon accessory - a souvenir from his home. He also wears his brown simple jacket, as he feels the most comfy in it. His style is mostly colorless, he likes sticking to beige, browns and blacks. With all of his outfits, Carl never forgets his heritage bracelet, a knit-wired wrist band with a stone pendant bearing his favorite symbol - Silver falcon. Very intelligent, mischievous and cunning. He is quick-witty, but that makes some people consider him as a smart-ass instead of the nice guy he really is. He is gentle, most of the time, but if someone hurts someone he cares about, he's not afraid to step in with that witty attitude. A lot of people think he's "the cool guy", but he hates to be referred to as such. He hates labels, and despite all what he may seem, in the end, he truly is simple, humble and apathetic to people's opinions about him. The only people he would really care about are the people he believes deserves the attention, instead of those who demand it.

[spoiler='Biography']
He left his home in Italy to travel the world and accomplish his dream, with the money his father left in his pockets and small string bag. Regardless, he never seemed to miss his family, maybe that is due to his hard childhood. Carl grew up in a religious family which all her members must obtain a position in the church, whilst Carl intention wasn't that at all. Since an early age, Carl admire his home town's cops and want to be one of them in the future. However, the only obstacle between him and his dream was his father, he absolutely refuse his son's ambition. He try to convince him by telling his only boy that the eternal role of his family was and still purifying the world from evil. Right after his father's death, Carl gather his stuffs and decide to travel far away from his home. He will purify the world in his own way. 
Nowadays, Carl he's just a dude living his dream as an officer. His dream came true when an inspector spotted him sleeping in Neo Domino's port. After a chat between them, he signed him on to Neo Domino's Police institute. He wakes up everyday to find himself preparing for a long day at the station, solving crimes and searching clues. In the afternoons, he meets with his chief to discuss today's work summary. After the re-opening of the underworld gates, Carl gets ready for the new challenge, he will make his father's soul proud of his only son.

Deck: He employ a "Sanctuary in the sky" fairy-type deck that focuses on swarming the field with strong fairy-type monsters like "Darklords", "Archlords", "Splendid Venus"... using "Valhalla, hall of the fallen". Also he troubles his opponent's strategies by using "Heralds" cards.
