Agro
What development team makes what games? What about the developers Capcom already has, are there any franchises that should stay in their respective developer's hands? Are there any Nintendo franchises which could be developed by Capcom development teams? What outside developers could Nintendo bring in for certain franchises? Suggest & Discuss. Tentacruel
Megaman goes to Keiji Inafune once he finishes Mighty Number 9. Clover stuff goes to Platinum (Nintendo retains ownership though, outright giving them the IP's would be very stupid.) Street Fighter, Monster Hunter, Ace Attorney can stay with their devs. Give Resi to Shinji Mikami, I guess. Burn Lost Planet. I'm tempted to say let Ninja Theory try again with Devil May Cry provided they're allowed to ascend past the maturity level of a 13 year old Call of Duty player. Retro could probably tackle some old Capcom franchise. Let Camelot take a swing at Breath of Fire.

I'd like to see Breath of Fire handled by one of my favorite developers there, so yeah Camelot.
Agro
I'd rather Nintendo keep all the IPs, but be liberal in letting certain people make games with them such as Inafune. Give Resi to Shinji Mikami, I guess. Dude's retiring after The Evil Within.
Tentacruel
Well, when I say "give" I mean "give development to." Nintendo owns the IP's (and all the Capcom dev teams.)
Lonk
Though, I don't really want Nintendo to keep all the franchises. Some are just better left in the dirt.

Lonk
Like Lost Planet. Especially Lost Planet. What in fornication was Capcom smoking when they came up with that? Don't get me wrong; the concept was very intriguing, but they treated it so horribly that it might as well be a stillborn child they had.

I want to know what they were smoking when they gave it a second and third installment.
Lonk
I want to know what they were smoking when they gave it a second and third installment. Let's not forget when they crossed the second game over with Gears of War. Like... wat?
Phantom Roxas
I'm not sure about Keiji Inafune's chances of getting the rights to Mega Man. Depends on if they would allow Comcept to take that.Street Fighter can go to Namco Bandai so the people who want Tekken X Street Fighter can get it sooner. However, that's been planned for PlayStation and Xbox, so if Nintendo gets Capcom, it either gets cancelled, or it's moved to the Wii U. I hope that Super Smash Bros. has at least given some people at Namco Bandai reason to make a fighting game for Nintendo. Wonder how that would play into Marvel vs. Capcom if we ever see another installment. The thing is, if Nintendo bought Capcom, all of their franchises would be locked down to either the 3DS or Wii U. While the Wii U certainly needs as many franchises as it could get, especially if it means taking things away from PlayStation and Xbox, the shareholders still have the final say. If they feel that allowing the games to be developed on PlayStation and/or Xbox would be more profitable than on the Wii U, then they won't allow Nintendo to take Capcom. Pretty much our only way of getting that to happen would be to make the Wii U seem preferable to the PS4 and the Xbone. Making it look like a better option than the PS4 would be difficult, if not nigh impossible, but it shouldn't be as much of a problem to get the Wii U to look like a better investment than the Xbone. I'm not sure that's how it works. If Nintendo bought Capcom, (or 51% of it), Nintendo would be the majority shareholder, or in layman's terms the only shareholder that gets to make decisions. Tourmaline
Not to mention Microsoft could not receive Capcom regardless of shares.
Lonk
Again, Capcom should just liquidate their properties and sell them to the highest bidders. Unfortunately, that's now how things in Japan work since failing companies get absorbed into successful companies.

Tourmaline
If Nintendo gets Megaman then that means he's in Smash Bros for good, at least. And Megaman stuff in Animal Crossing, oddly enough.
