Omnomming my way to the Top (My take on Madolche)

What a unexpected treat this Archetype turned out to be.... With many Sweet cards and a tasty strategy involved, I was sure to be able to devour my competition. Okay I will stop with the Puns now lol. Right, this is my take on Madolches, has held up really well on YGOPro against Utopia and Frogs. Looking for Deck Fixes and Xyz advice. There is no Synchros here.

Oh boy, you're getting trashed for this...

 

Ok, let's start by saying what you shouldn't play:

 

Butterusk

Cruffssant (1 can be a tech, but nothing more)

Marmalmaide (mediocre)

Puddingcess (it can also be a tech, but only at 1)

Grand Mole (maybe in the side deck?)

Monster Reincarnation (...why?)

Madolche Lesson

Stronghold the Moving Fortress (Why 2.0)

 

You should max out Angelly and Hootcake, they are your star players. And for the love of god, at least add Leviair and Invoker to the Extra Deck, they are the main way the deck has to perform combos/OTKs.

 

And that's just for starters...

 

Edit: I just noticed the complete lack of Messengelato. Shame on your cow.

Stronghold was for a quick L4 when needed.

Reincarnation was to keep Madolches out of my Grave when I haven't got a Chateau to hand.

Grand Mole is a Earth L3 in other words fits well in there 

Yeah I should tone down Puddingcess as I don't have the cards she Techs with in there....

Maide is a decent 2000 DEF Blocker (at least for a turn or two as I dig out my other Madolches

Cruff I will have to double check on.

What's wrong with Butterusk? He gets a Chateau to my hand without needing to waste a slot on Terraforming.

Messengelatto is the prefered way to adding Chateau. It triggers on Mewfeille and Hootcake, while also adding Ticket. Oh, and also Palooza, wich is another card that you can play.

 

Buttlerusk is just too slow and narrow, and you're better off normal summoning something more useful.

As for the deck itself...
For the Extra Deck, you typically want to make it based around what Hootcake can make/potentially make, as well as what other sorts of combinations you can make.
While trimming out the fat, of course.

-2 Madolche Cruffssant (can be used as a tech, but still pretty bad, considering what the deck can pull off)
-3 Madolche Marmalmaide (absolute s*** and you only need Tiaramisu to recycle your Spell/Traps)
-1 Madolche Puddingcess (terrible dead draw and you're much better off running standard removal)
-1 Neo Spacian Grand Mole (bad this format because bouncing during your turn doesn't mean anything)
-1 Dark Hole (Mediocre at best, cloggy at worst)
-1 Madolche Chateau (You don't need 3)
-3 Madolche Lesson (absolutely horrible card)
-1 Mirror Force (terrible this format)
-2 Stronghold the Moving Fortress (why aren't you running Instant Fusion instead?)

-1 Tiaramisu (you only need 2)

+1 Messengelato (has a lot of combos with Anjelly/Hootcake/Mewfeulle)
+2 Fire Hand (gives you a strong grind game and fuels your Graveyard for Hootcake. Being Level 4 is also always useful)
+2 Ice Hand (same reason as Fire Hand)
+2 Maxx "C" (always useful because it punishes swarms that can't push for game and fuels your Graveyard for Hootcake)
+0/1 Book of Moon (gives you extra control)
+1 Bottomless Trap Hole (still a staple)
+2 Trap Stun (gives you more control and OTKs)
+1 Palooza (OTK enabler)
+2 Breakthrough Skill (screws up a lot of cards and counters Moraltech)
+1/2 Dimensional Prison (absolutely destroys Hands and other stuff)

+2 Leviair (easy to pull off with Anjelly or Special Summoning a Hand is always monstrous)
+1 M-X-Saber Invoker (combos with Messengelato for an instant Tiaramisu)
+1 Ghostrick Alucard (popping back-row is always nice)
+1 Number 101 (staple)
+1 Number 50 (staple)
+1 Number 103 (staple)
+1 Exciton Knight (staple)
+1 Diamond Dire Wolf (more options to fuel your Graveyard)
+1 Gagaga Cowboy (800 burn for game is still useful)
+1 Abyss Dweller (f***s up a lot of plays)
+2 Rank 3/4 Xyzs of your choice/depending on the build

Weisrdly enough the last 2 Duels I had, Stronghold helped a lot. Managed to get a Tiramasu out and clear the field with her effect. Yeah a lot of people are mentioning that fuelling the Graveyard would be great for Hoot.... I will definatly have to look into that recent victories include STar Seraph, Six Sams and Watts.

You do know that you can't use Stronghold as an Xyz Material for Tiramasu, right?

I was late, I was tired, I derped lol. Noticed that this morning. Still has saved my ass on a few occasions though. Considering taking out Lesson and Stronghold for other things though. I used Lesson like once and that was merely to clear the Grave for Puddingcess for a mere 800 boost......
